I really like this cleansing conditioner! I picked up a bottle of it at my local health food store on a whim after trying L’Oreal, Wen, and the Sally Beauty version of Wen and not being all that impressed. I expected some fall out, oiliness and dryness but this stuff cleans my hair, keeps the color fresh and bright [hello, redheads] and makes it so soft! It’s not too highly perfumed either, and the texture of the conditioner is not too thick, not too watery. I make sure to thoroughly wet my hair down with warm water before I start, and even add a bit of water to my hair after I’ve gotten the conditioner worked in to make it even easier to use.
Good stuff, might try the rosemary/mint version when I’m done with this bottle.

I used Sally’s Hair One for years and I loved it. However, I got bored, coupled w/ my DH complaint that he wanted a separate shampoo and conditioner, I decided to branch out. My current HG is Suave sea minerals shampoo and Renpur Biotin and Collagen conditioner. This combo gives me LOTS of volume for my thin but plentiful, straight color treated hair.
Fast forward 6 months and next to my Renpur conditioner on Target’s shelf was this product. Seemed similar to the Hair One (I have never used Wen and due to price, never will) and for $6, I figured what the hey hey.
I have NEVER paid attention to the number of pumps or timed how long I keep this or the Hair One on my hair. I pump enough to cover my hair/scalp, wash everything else and then rinse.
This stuff smells pleasant, is reasonably priced and does leave my hair shiny, clean, conditioned, but not as much volume as the combo above. This product I find to be comparable to the Hair One but less expensive.
Will I re-purchase? Probably not but if I didn’t have access to my current combo, then I might.

My hair is extremely thick, coarse, and dry. It is also color-treated, highlighted, and heat-styled. I look for products with intense hydration that won’t strip or fade my color. A few months ago I decided to go completely sulfate-free, so I stocked up on Renpure cleansing conditioners, Wen, and my standby – Kirkland (Costco) sulfate-free moisturizing shampoo & conditioner. I alternate products, depending upon what my hair needs at that time. I really like the RenPure products – the Sweet Pomegranate has a very sweet, fruity fragrance. It is a thinner consistency than Wen, but I feel like it does an equal job of cleansing & conditioning my hair. I do find that I use slightly more Renpure than Wen, just due to the thinner consistency. I wet my hair thoroughly, use probably 12-15 pumps of the Renpure, work it through my hair into a “froth” massaging my scalp, then comb it through, and let it sit while I finish my shower, then rinse thoroughly. My hair feels hydrated and clean, but not dry or tangled. When I blowdry with Pureology styling cream, it is smooth and sleek, but bouncy & not weighed down (a problem I sometimes have with some Wen formulas). I also find that the Sweet Pomegranate & Lavender Renpure formulas do not seem to have menthol (or not as much) as the Wen formulas or the Rosemary Mint Renpure. Overall I definitely recommend giving Renpure a try if you are looking for a good cleansing conditioner that won’t break the bank. It works great for me and I will definitely continue to use it from here on out.

So far so good, I have really fine thin straight hair and after I wash it it’s usually greasy the next morning. So far my hair is light and soft, its my first day using it so we will see if my hair is greasy in the morning. I use the mint, which smells really nice.

This product is very similar to Wen but much more affordable. Strangely I hated the Rosemary Mint version which left my hair feeling coated. The Sweet Pomegranate, on the other hand, is terrific. My hair feels clean and soft after using this. I did have to use more than 12 pumps though and I have short hair. But since this is a third of the price of a lot of cleansing conditioners, I don’t mind. I don’t use this every wash though because it has silicone which can build up.

I love this stuff! It didnt work for me as a cleansing conditioner, but it has been a MIRACLE for my hair in the form of a leave-in! I have turned a lot of people on to what an excellent styling product this is!
One pump is plenty through your hair! It takes down frizz like its it’s job! I have never had such gorgeous hair in my life as I do when I use this stuff as a leave in.
If you apply while your hair is still damp and towl-dried, scrunch, and let dry; you will have some gorgeous shiny waves! Heat styling is a lot easier too. Nothing compares to the clean shine!

My scalp is dry and sensitive and my hair is dry, short, curly, and color-treated. This cleansing conditioner made my hair feel clean and conditioned. I need to use several pumps, even though my hair is short. There’s no lather. This thick, creamy lotion is packaged in a 16 ounce brown bottle with a pump container. It doesn’t contain sulfates, parabens, dyes, gluten, phthalates, or propylene glycol, according to the label. It makes my scalp feel a little itchy so I no longer use it.
