I don’t get any conditioning properties from this conditioner. It leaves my hair flyaway and dry with no body. In fact, its the opposite since my hair falls flat during the day after using. I had to shampoo the next day just to get some moisture back in my hair with Suave Mor

PERFECT for FINE hair — If you have wispy, feathery hair like I do then you will be in LOVE with the Sea Minerals products. If you’re lucky and happen to have courser hair then this line really won’t help you too much. I have never tried Suave before and have only used Redken for the last 30+ years but I’m tired of paying so much. The smell of this line is very beachy and clean and thankfully not fruity. I have waist length very fine but slightly dry hair and this conditioner does exactly what it claims. It leaves my hair softly volumized and I’m just so impressed for the cost.

Not sure why, but a few of Suave’s conditioners (in the gold bottle) smell like incense. However, this one is the most pleasant. It didn’t make my hair feel more moisturized and didn’t keep frizz at bay, which is what I expect from any conditioner.

I absolutely love this conditioner for my fine, long, straight natural brunette hair. It has wonderful ‘slip’ in the shower yet does not weigh my hair down. The scent is divine & unique. I don’t think I have ever had a better conditioner for the price point, & will definitely repurchase this!!!

My regular conditioner ran out, so after reading the rave reviews of this conditioner online (and for the cheap price) I decided to try it. As I’ve found with almost ALL Suave conditioners, this one is no different. It left my hair clean and soft – but TOO SOFT. I have fine hair, but lots of it. This conditioner didn’t weight my hair down, and it wasn’t too dry either – it just made it bouncy – but then after an hour, it dropped and just hung. Not weighed down, almost a TOO clean feeling. My hair was so soft it wouldn’t even hold a curl – this was with mousse, which I finally had to add the next day to see if I could get by using this conditioner. Nope. It’s too bad, because it’s cheap and the smell was nice – but just like the rest of Suave hair products, it just doesn’t quite get my hair on point.
EDIT- 9.23.2015 – I came back to re-review this product, since I like to try things more than once to see if I really want to get rid of them. This time, I used just the conditioner like I did last time, but instead of applying mouse, I find that since this conditioner is for “volume” (like others have mentioned) it’s not as conditioning as you would expect. So, after using this conditioner (I use Pert shampoo 2 in 1) I spray my damp hair with Aussie’s leave in conditioner/hair insurance (which I’ve used all the time) and THIS seems to work just fine with my hair. I love the smell and I do love the body it gives my hair without weighing it down too much – but I find that I need to put something “extra” in my hair post-shower, or else my fine hair gets very flyish.

For less than four bucks, this is pretty good. It gives excellent slip in the shower and smells amazing if you like marine like scents. It leaves my hair shiny and not greasy feeling since it is light. May not be moisturizing enough for some. For me, it could be a tad more moisturizing. On a good note, it boosts some of my curls and gives just enough volume for my hair without leaving it puffy looking or frizzy.

I’ve been using this for three weeks, and I love it! Great smell, adds body and shine, and just enough slip. I have tangly hair so a conditioner that helps make it easier to brush is vital, and this does just that. My hair is left feeling bouncy, clean and moisturized. I highly recommend this stuff! It works great 🙂

I had to try this after using the matching shampoo (haven’t tried them together yet). While the shampoo moisturizes but leaves my hair feeling a little bit weighed down at the roots, this is the opposite: it makes my hair weightless on the length but not quite moisturized enough. I loved that it’s thin consistency because those are mostly the conditioners I go for. Rinses clean and makes my hair feel like silk in the shower. I always let my hair air dry overnight and this conditioner seemed to pull some of the natural wave out and make it look straighter, which is fine by me. The best part was that it tamed my wild ends that want to curl everywhere and made them look nice. My hair feels relatively soft and not coated, but I don’t feel like it moisturizes as well as it could. Overall though I do like what it did for my hair and would probably repurchase, I just wouldn’t use it every wash.

Love this and the matching shampoo. Does a great job of moisturizing without weighing hair down and the scent is to die for.

Great conditioner and a really good companion to the matching shampoo. This is a light, fluffy-textured conditioner so a little goes a long way. I used it after washing and rinsing twice with the shampoo and my hair was not only soft when I removed the towel (10 minutes later after the shower) but it air-dried light and fluffy which is how I like to dry my thick, wavy untreated hair. A great buy at around $3 at Target.
A note- my hairdresser has been commenting over the past year (I get a trim every 2 months or so) on the great condition of my hair. The salon is a Bumble salon, and though he doesn’t push products, he certainly does tell me what he’s using from Bumble (and sometimes he uses things that I own from the brand and haven’t finished yet). But last time I told him that I found a great shampoo and conditioner from Suave and he just said something like, “oh, you know the ds and high-end brands can be similar but…you do need to be careful because sometimes the ds brands put crap in the shampoos”. Well, if he’s been steadily complimenting the health of my hair for the past year when I’ve been using Suave and not a single high-end shampoo, I think that settles it for me:)
