It is lovely stuff. A friend told me she really liked it. A few other friends and i all tried it. My hair looks so healthy and is super soft when I use this. All my friends and I have all noticed that it does seem to improve the health of our scalps. We all noticed no more dry flakes or dandruff, and no excess oil or anything. It doesn’t weigh down my super fine hair much which many things do, and its 96% or so plant based and biodegradable! I am personally rather fond of the smell as well.

Let me start off with saying that Live Clean products are always my staple items, I have medium length, thick wavy brown hair that is dry sometimes. I’ve tried the color protect, invigorating, volumizing, moisturizing, apple cider, and Bali/argan oil and have always been pleased with them all. I was super excited to try the professional line because I thought they would have more of a salon feel, without all the harsh chemicals. I chose the balance shampoo and conditioner because it fit all my hair needs (moisturizing, lifting, volumizing, clarifying, damage repair ext). I love the packaging but the smell is weird to me, it’s not terrible but it’s defiantly not pleasant. When I tried the shampoo I liked the general feel too it, but when I used the conditioner afterwards it felt as if I couldn’t rinse it all off, after rinsing for at least 5 minutes I gave up and got out thinking it must all be out. As soon as my hair dried, my whole scalp had a greasy thick residue from the conditioner, and the ends were drier than before. My hair was so weak and broke so easily throughout the day, I was disappointed. I decided to try it again the next morning, but unfortunately even with 10-15 minutes rinsing, it did the exact same thing. Nothing good came out of this shampoo and conditioner, I will not be finishing the bottles or repurchasing, maybe it will work for you but it did no good for me. The price was average.

– amazing smell (sniff it at your local walmart/ rexall/ shopper’s 😉
– thick and you only need a small amount
– good for curly THICK hair
– easy to comb through, does not create tangles
– healthy ingredients= aqua, willowbark extract, lavender extract, matricania flower extract, rosemary leaf extract… and more!
cons:
– I think it leaves some residue… so i don’t apply directly to scalp but from mid hair length to the ends
i got this for more than 3.97 i think (since that’s the regular amount for live clean shampoo’s… but this is”professional”….
but they have 1 $ coupon on their facebook website so it wouldn’t have been more than 4 dollars and it lasts long 🙂 (u can get their other conditioners which i bet work great for 2.97 with the coupon obviously)
