This is an excellent conditioner for my 2C hair. It’s light enough that my hair isn’t weighed down, but not so light that I have frizz

I absolutely love this conditioner, it’s seemingly the only thing that works for my 2C/3A wavy/curly hair. The only issue I have is that I go through this WAY too quickly. It just doesn’t go quite far enough for the price. Even with that said, when I can swing it with my budget, I will still always repurchase this.

I would consider repurchasing this. It’s a nice “basic” conditioner – smells good, doesn’t weigh my hair down, detangles my hair pretty well and works well with the Squish to Condish method. I don’t find it the most moisturizing, but it works pretty well. I do think it’s overpriced for what it is.

This was part of the “Deva Curl Wavy Mini Transformation Kit” (containing Low-Poo Delight, One Condition Delight and Wave Maker).
I am not sure how to rate this product. It felt great on my hair, I used it after cleansing with Low-Poo
I would have given it top rating if it weren’t for the very strong fragrance.
Therefore I would not buy it again.
If you are not sensitive to fragrance – this is great product otherwise.
However, I also purchased their Microfiber towel – it is great. It instantly removes almost all the water without making my hair frizzy.

I have oily, fine hair and this conditioner provides great moisture without weighing down my waves. My hair would be classified as wavy (2A or 2B).
The scent is hard to describe–almost a lemon cake? It’s not strong and I don’t smell it throughout the day.
I find this product works best when my hair is soaking wet in the shower. I use half the amount (about 3 peas) that I would normally use for other conditioners and work it in from the ends going up. I have to be really careful to completely rinse it out. Otherwise, it will result in weighed-down matted sections of hair.
Would repurchase. I wish I found this conditioner sooner.

I found this at Kroger…which is KEWL coz I don’t go to salons & I rarely visit ulta/Sephora (can’t order from there for personal reasons). So that’s so great! This conditioner is light but rich & nicely scented. I wash my hair ev 4-5 days. I was doing cowash but I do need a shamPOO of some kind to accompany my conditioner because I have an oily skin type/scalp so this system it is working well for me. If you tried cowashing & it isn’t for you try this conditioner w low poo to cleanse your hair without stripping it to bits.

First off, I’m glad to see some people love this. Unfortunately I’m not one of them. I had a horrible time with the no poo and one condition, which left me with scalp issues since I wasn’t cleansing my scalp properly. I received samples of this and figured I’d give them a try. This conditioner just didn’t have enough moisture and left my hair feeling dry, coarse, and coated. It’s definitely my last deva curl try. I think this brand and I are not compatible. The ingredients just don’t do anything for me at all. There’s really not much else to say. I have 2c hair that tends to be dry, coarse, frizzy, is not thin nor is it thick, low porosity. I live in a dry, desert climate.

I’d like to preface my review by saying that I do not use this as a conditioner as it isn’t heavy/strong enough for my overabundant, fine textured, color treated and highlighted, 100% grey, 2C/3A/3B hair. Instead, I like it as part of my second day hair refresh. I first spritz on a watered down (50% product/50%water) refresher spray (like Mister Right) and then take about a quarter sized dollop of this and scrunch it in my damp curls. What this does is smooths and softens my poofy, slightly frizzy bed-head hair into tamed curls and waves even after tossing and turning all night.
It doesn’t seem to build up or cause gross, tacky, gooey hair even used as a leave in, and washes out perfectly without any build up the next day.
I have also used a bit of this on my drier spots (like when my hairdresser gets overzealous with the bleach and dries out my hair a bit) as a leave in after my gel (I use Arc Angel) and it helps to soften the feel and look of my hair.
Using this as a conditioner is more a matter of preference than anything as I am a wavy curly and this should work for my hair, but I tend to like to not be as poofy and prefer a bit more softness and weight. My hair is never frizzy with this conditioner, it just gives me very poofy big hair. 😉
Overall I’m pleased with this “conditioner” and will keep purchasing.

I have to say I was quite surprised by this conditioner. Devacurl conditioners tend to not work well on my frizzy 2c/3a wavy hair. The regular one is not moisturizing enough and the Decadence one weighs my medium textured hair down.
This Delight conditioner detangles and give a nice light moisture to my hair for daily use. It help with my frizz without being weighing my hair down. I use a deep conditioner with heat every 9 or 10 days so I do not want heavy conditioning on a regular basis.
This conditioner also rinses easily, which other Devacurl conditioners seem to build up and my hair tends to really hold on to them and I can end up with gunky hair.
The smell on these I think is light enough that is should not bother most people. I have a sensitive dry scalp and this did not bother it at all. I can leave a fair amount in as a leave in and not have it leave a gunky feel on my hair after drying it.
This is a really nice light everyday conditioner.

Light, pleasant smelling (for a change … not usually a fan of the Deva scents) – I’ve already gone through a regular size and bought a litre. I like it better with Verb shampoo or Redken Curvaceous low foam than with the Delight low-poo however.
