got it as part of a sale with the shampoo, as a package.
I suppose my frizzy hair requires something like a leave in conditioner. which I will consider getting at some point, if I decide I have time, I actually don’t like feeling my hair has product in it after showering. though the shampoo [of the same name and range ] and this conditioner do soften the hair immensely , they don’t do much for the frizz. they lessen it a bit, they did nourish and clean my hair and kept the oils at a minimum. a plus.
I use a dollop small pea sized amount, because my hair is oily and I worried using a conditioner would make it oilier, it hasn’t which is a plus. it works well with the shampoo, it immediately softens the hair. but the frizz was almost the same as before . almost.
frankly I’m not a whole lot upset about this, these products made my hair softer and much easier to comb.as a conditioner only, it works. I would buy again

This is my third Whole Blends conditioner that I’ve purchased, I meant to buy the avocado formula but grabbed this instead by mistake. It doesn’t have any silicones so it’s very light weight, I had to use a lot of conditioner to feel that it was doing something to my dry, long, frizzy hair, it was very easy to rinse out, which I liked. I applied the same amount of leave in conditioner and serum oil after and my hair dried out very shiny, soft and not stuck to my head or with a heavy feeling but didn’t control much of my frizz so probably will go back to the Cocoa Butter in the brown bottle, it works better for my type of hair plus smells so amazing, this formula has a very faint smell, very generic. The texture feels like body lotion more than a conditioner or a mask. Will continue to use but will not repurchase.
Edit: tried it one more time to give it another chance and my hair dried extremely frizzy, soft and shiny but it looked horrible, I had to add a lot of leave in to make it look like normal hair and still got frizzier and frizzier as the day went on.

This Garnier Whole Blends Legendary Olive conditioner is another dish on the silicone-free diet I’ve begun for my hair. Two weeks in, I’m impressed. This conditioner is rich and super-hydrating, leaving my hair feeling truly conditioned rather than with the surface smoothness that I’d experienced with silicone-heavy conditioners.
So here are the plusses:
– a little goes a LONG way. I use just a dime-sized dollop for my medium-thick, shoulder blade-length wavy-curly hair. Any more product is too heavy.
– the scent is pleasant but not overpowering, and thankfully isn’t the fake-fruity scent used in most Garnier products.
– my hair feels soft and silky after using this conditioner, and doesn’t require as much leave-in frizz cream as with other conditioners.
– this would double as a great conditioning hair mask, either alone or with some additional olive oil mixed in.
And two minor problems:
– if you have oily/sensitive/acne-prone skin, I can see a conditioner this rich causing breakouts around your jawline, neck/nape and, most dreaded, your back. I solve this problem by keeping a clip in my shower, and clipping my hair up while I’m conditioning. I also clip it up again after rinsing, and wash my face, neck, nape and upper back last. A dermatologist recommended this to me years ago, and it’s good advice for anyone with sensitive or acne-prone skin, at any rate.
– like the previous reviwer stated, I can see this bottle design becoming problematic once the conditioner is almost gone. However,at the rate I’m going, it will take me a year to get to that point!

This is my new FAVORITE conditioner!!! I usually don’t buy Garnier products because of the heavy perfume smell, but this Legendary Olive is very light and fresh and doesn’t linger!! Not perfumey at all!! It really conditions my hair but is gentle and does not dry my hair out. Gives my fine hair bounce and shine. The conditioner is thick and white in color. I also use the matching shampoo and love it too! I give the packaging one lippie cause it’s a weird upside down bottle and once you get it half empty it’s hard to remove product without shaking and squeezing bottle constantly. Would have preferred a pump of some kind, or packaging just like the shampoo !!
