This is really thick and creamy and it hydrates well. My hair was very soft and less frizzy after getting out the shower and letting my hair dry. A little goes a long way too, so a big bottle will last you a long time. It has a nice scent to it that isn’t overwheming. I look forward to pairing it with the matching shampoo next time. This is suitable for those with thick and dry hair. It takes away some of the bulk without being greasy or leaving any residue. Update: 1/7/14 I was going through my product stash and saw that I still had half a bottle of this. My hair was in need of a moisturizing conditioner since I had an at-home protein treatment, and this was effective in a pinch. It left my hair feeling hydrated and unbelievably soft. It is not a miracle worker for long-term hair health, but gets the job done. A big bottle will last you a long time.

Having used this once for CO-washing, once for CWC, and twice as a conditioner following shampoo, I think this just might be HG material. As a CO-wash, it leaves me with waves, shine, and even soft ends (it was razored and it doesn’t look good without loads of product on the ends to define and tame them). As a conditioner, it’s moisturizing enough for my needs and leaves it shiny and wavy. The smell is delicious, I got it for $3.97 for the pair of bottles, and if it keeps working this well I think I can safely pare down the massive collection of conditioner bottles in my tiny bathroom!

I bought this conditioner because of the great reviews here. Well, guess what? I hated it. I was so excited to try something that was cone-free, but this stuff left my hair feeling like I slathered on hand lotion all over my hair. I have fine hair, but it’s also dry and color-treated so I thought this would be good for it. I made sure to use only one pump-full and to rinse very well, but by the fourth use my hair had so much build-up, it was hard to manage. I did give this two lippies because it smells incredible and it was dirt cheap. Costco was great, they took it back.
