8/14/2015 update: I still really like this cleansing conditioner, but I’m still on the hunt for ‘the next best thing’.
———————————–
I’m going to be honest: I hesitated before purchasing this. The ingredients looked pretty run of the mill and it has peppermint oil in it. Peppermint oil is something I usually steer clear of because it’s irritating to my sensitive skin and drying. The jury is still out on the long term effects of it so I will keep yall updated.
However, so far, I love this product. This is SUCH a refreshing conditioner to use on a hot summer day thanks to the peppermint oil and cucumber water extract. It is very soothing.
As for the results, this surprisingly didn’t flare up my rosacea during my shower. And my hair feels very squeaky clean. I really liked Finesse moisturizing conditioner as a cleansing conditioner, but this outperformed it in the cleaning aspect.
I will have to still use a leave in conditioner, but that’s to be expected. I have accepted that the miracle coleansing conditioner I hunted for just isn’t logical. For it to take the place of both my clarifying shampoo and deep conditioner in one, the ingredients would be in major conflict.
If I notice any adverse effects from the peppermint oil I will update this immediately.

Great conditioner at an affordable price. Works wonders on my fine, dry hair and itchy scalp. I use this along with the matching shampoo and am very pleased with the results. This conditioner has a fresh green scent with a hint of mint. It leaves my hair smooth and hydrated without weighing it down. Definitely would repurchase.

I have slightly damaged hair, but using intensive repair shampoos and conditioners kills my scalp. I will seriously shred my scalp from scratching. I swore by Suave Scalp Solutions Coconut and Shea Butter, but it was discontinued. I was bummed. I picked this up at Walmart for $2.50. I didn’t have high hopes for it. I was pleasantly surprised by this stuff. It’s a pretty thick conditioner. Really had to work it through my hair. I love Tea Tree oil so the smell didn’t bother me. I looooove the tingle! It cleaned without stripping my hair. My scalp feels great. My hair is super shiny. I’ll probably keep this around.

Drama Clean was my all time favorite conditioner so I was surprised and a bit disappointed to see that HE had revamped it to “Tea-Lightfully Clean”. I decided to try it anyway though, and found that the conditioner itself pretty much works exactly like Drama Clean does. The only big difference is, of course, the tea tree oil thing is has going. I’ve never been a big fan of it and this conditioner is no exception. The smell is very minty and strong; it doesn’t smell bad but in my tiny bathroom it’s overwhelming. I also don’t really care for the “tingle” feeling that you get wherever this conditioner reaches. But I would overlook those things and keep buying this just because I still love how it works on my hair.

I bought this shampoo because I was super broke and my John Frieda Root Awakening (USED to be HG) was breaking me out in hives and giving me cystic pimples on my back! I’d tried the “Drama Clean” line and didn’t find it worked for me, it left a residue on my hair and scalp. I needed something clarifying but still nourishing and I absolutely LOVE tea tree so I picked this up with it’s matching shampoo and blow dry prep mist at just over $3 CAD each. Not too shabby!
The conditioner definitely has more of a minty scent and feel than the shampoo in my opinion, and I love it! Decent slip, rinses out like a dream. My hair is suitably moisturized, and best of all this line doesn’t cause me to itch or break out on the scalp or back. I’ve used it for a couple weeks now with no ill reactions.

W O W!! Really impressed with this. I had just used the new Naked Shine Shampoo which was just ‘eh’ for me, but this stuff… I immediately felt a nice strong tingle from the tea tree oil (or ‘essence’ as the label put it), and while the formula wasn’t thick, it somehow managed to soften and detangle and silken nicely. Love the minty scent, too. I would have tried the shampoo but CVS was out of stock. I will definitely repurchase this. BTW it’s on sale at CVS for $3, plus there’s a $3 off two coupon out there if you can find it.
