I am a fan of the coordinating shampoo, but the conditioner is a no go for me. I had to use so much of this to come close to the nice conditioned feel I get with other conditioners and I never quite get that good feeling. Up until I diffuse dry, I am left with that feeling of raking through my hair…I hate that. I want my wide tooth comb to glide through after conditioner. I prefer my Matrix Total Results moisturizing conditioner or the GVP for Biolage Conditioning Balm (also Pureology conditioners and a few others) more than this. When my hair was completely done and styled, I was left with nice feeling hair that looked awful (undefined curls, poofy).
Now, there is some good. My hair had a lot of volume when I used this. When I was drying it, it felt like it was taking forever to dry (so maybe it was moisturized even if it didn’t feel that way in the shower. And those first few minutes when you are done diffusing and finish air drying, things look good, but then the frizz and poof come in.
I had bought this the shampoo and leave in conditioner at a great deal via a gift package. It pained me to return what would have cost $80+ that I only paid $54 for, but the only “keeper” was the shampoo and that retails for around $30.

This conditioner is my holy grail! I have very dry, color treated hair that is naturally curly. I keep my hair a very light blonde and tend to heat style, so my hair is a bit damaged and frazzled. I was at the end of my rope and had tried everything from high end products to DIY hair masks and my hair was still disgusting. I read a few reviews on this conditioner and decided to give it a try and was not disappointed. My hair went from lifeless mess to shiny and manageable in just one wash. I used the shampoo in this line and then put the conditioner in my hair for 5-10 minutes and then rinsed. Even in the shower, I could tell my hair was different. I have also tried the Healing Oil in this brand, but the Healing Moisture is my favorite.

Thanks to MUA, I have finally found my HG conditioner. It’s super moisturizing but leaves my hair light and bouncy and really shiny. I love the scent. Not sure what all the other reviewers are describing but the scent is clearly Kukui Nut. It is subtle and tropical and I really like it. The texture of this conditioner is thick and creamy and it rinses very easily. I apply it to damp hair and let it sit for at least 10 mins and it really sinks into my hair. It doesn’t feel like when I’m rinsing it’s all going down the drain. It does have quite a few oils high on the ingredients list so maybe that’s why. It does contain silicones but right near the bottom of the ingredients list so it doesn’t build up. I only need to wash my hair once a week (with the matching shampoo) but typically use this conditioner every two days heavily on the ends and sparingly near my scalp. This is a great conditioner if you want something that penetrates deeper but still leaves your hair light and moisturized. I really love it!!

This has a toasted coconut scent to my nose and it is wonderful. It is also creamy and thick, so use a light hand at first. Like others have noted it can be a bit heavy feeling, but it conditions well and provides a perfect amount of moisture to my hair without being greasy or dulling. It provides good shine and manageability. It has decent slip and helps with detangling. I am really starting to appreciate the L’anza line after trying the reconstructor. I want to buy the Tamanu shampoo next and moi moi masque to see how well they would do for my hair. I purchased this conditioner from Sleekhair with a coupon as this can be pricey on its own. If you have medium to thick hair that is dry, this would be nice to try. It does a very good job of smoothing out the hair and helps a lot with frizz. It does have glycerin so I have to be careful not to use it during low dew points. Other than that, I really like this and would repurchase.

I have this quirky habit of getting the matching conditioner whenever I try a new shampoo. So it was only fitting that I got the Healing Moisture Kukui Nut Conditioner when I got the Tamanu Cream shampoo.
This conditioner is rich and it works well for my thick, medium textured, colour treated hair. It’s too heavy as a daily conditioner for fine hair but would work as a deep conditioner used once a week.
It has that tropical scent like the shampoo but it’s not too overpowering. It leaves my hair feeling soft and smooth. The shampoo and conditioner together revive my hair and my highlights look more vibrant too. I have bra strap length hair and this conditioner makes it easy for me to comb my hair without tangles. It’s not cheap at $24.95 CAD but I think it’s a good investment considering the time and money I spend at the hairdresser getting my hair coloured.
I’ll definitely be saving up for the big litre size.

I’m on my second bottle of this conditioner, and after this one is finished, I’ll track down the liter-sized pump bottle. This is very thick and rich for a regular conditioner and gives the slip and manageability of a silicone-heavy formula without the silicone-heavy formula.
My hair is mid-back length, virgin, 1cish, fine but dense, and very, very tangle-prone. I don’t have many major hair issues at the moment since I grew out some bleach damage a few years ago, but I do need a fair bit of moisture and a lot of help detangling. This conditioner is one of the best I’ve used for busting tangles and frizz, and the fact that it does so without dimethicone third on the ingredients list is pretty impressive. I can use this instead of a traditional deep conditioner twice a week, left on my hair for 2-3 minutes, and the next day my hair will be soft, glossy, manageable, and won’t need a styling oil in order to detangle and lay down neatly. It’s not what I’d call clean-rinsing – I have to rinse a fair bit to get it out, so this might be too heavy for someone with very fine hair. I have not had any problem with product buildup.
The scent is fairly strong and quite tropical – you definitely get a “tropical nut” scent without any hint of coconut, tanning oil, or Mai-Tais. The scent lingers, and I can imagine it being a deal-breaker for many people – luckily for me I like the scent. It’s also quite concentrated, and I use about a third as much of this as I do my daily conditioners.
My bottle is an inverted flip-top, which I find very convenient in the shower, although it’s somewhat wobbly and falls over easily. I paid $15CDN for a 250mL/8.4oz bottle, which puts it firmly in the middle of the road for a salon conditioner. Somewhat harder to find than, say, a Redken product, but should be available online.
Overall I strongly recommend this product unless you have very fine hair (even then it might still work as a deep conditioner) or are very sensitive to fragrances. Very high-performing, a staple for me, probably even a HG.

This conditioner, and the matching shampoo are two of my holy grail products! I have relaxer alternated with keratin treatments, and color on my hair…so my hair takes ALOT of abuse. This conditioner leaves my dry/damaged hair smooth, healthy, and shiny. I have tons of hair, but it gets weighed down easily. My hair never feels coated or weighed down after using this conditioner, it works especially well paired with the shampoo. However, sometimes I rotated my shampoos just to mix things up a bit. It smells super fresh and clean, and it is compatible with keratin treatments, too. I love this conditioner, and I will always keep it in my regular “line up” of hair products.

Just wrote my review for the shampoo, which I love. And I love this too! I was worried about the whole “sulfate-free” thing since my hair is really fine and tangles easily and if there isn’t enough moisture in my shampoo/conditioner (which there almost never is) my hair will be impossible to brush out and look like a frizzy mess. NOT an issue with this combo! I tend to count shampoos as more important to me than conditioners, but I feel like that’s more because so many conditioners are just a bunch of hydrolized wheat protein, silicones, and wax lately. It’s very rare that I find one that I’m impressed with. This one is quite impressive! Like others have said, I feel like my hair is literally “drinking” this conditioner in. Usually the smooth feeling after rinsing out conditioner lasts about 2 minutes before the hot water of my shower rinses off all the stuff they put in there to coat your hair (I take long showers D:). This stuff makes my hair feel completely smooth, and not in a “coated with junk”-type way. The first time I used these products I tried brushing out my hair as-is with no product (I usually use Moroccanoil as a detangler because my hair is literally impossible to comb through). Obviously it wasn’t as easy as when I have some Moroccanoil in there, but I managed! This would be unthinkable with most products — especially the other sulfate-free products I’ve tried that left my hair tangled and dehydrated. Some nights wear coconut oil in my hair overnight and using this shampoo and conditioner in the morning leaves me with shiny, healthy looking hair that isn’t even slightly greasy. Some people have said that these are either too drying or too moisturizing. For me they’re perfect. This really is a high-quality, effective product. And it smells great, too! Love the combo of these two and am buying the liter bottle as soon as I run out of the regular sizes!

One of the best conditioners I have ever tried. Very luxurious feeling and smell, but easy to wash off and doesn’t leave much of a residue. After drying the hair is really healthy looking and shiny, yet very light and easy to style. A big miracle, since I have coarse and stubborn long hair that has been dyed regularly for 10 years.
Compared to TIGI and Redken products in general this gives much more moisture and the result is less silicone-feeling hair. I get best results when I use very mild daily shampoo together with this and a less moisturizing conditioner with the Tamanu Shampoo.

L’anza is such a great line. My hair normally doesn’t hold the smell of shampoo/conditioner but after finding L’anza… my hair always smelled so great.
I switched over from Pureology. And I love it so much more because L’anza new line/packaging has all been reformulated and is all sulfate free/color friendly.
My favorite line is the moisture because I love the Kukui Nut… I really wanted to try it at first because of the smell, and the hair mask was amazing as well.
If you’re currently using Pure, you’ll like this one more because the price point is about the same but I feel like this is a little more moisturizing and smells way better. Pure needs some scent!!
