This conditioner has a light honey and apricot scent. The Hair Food conditioner is supposed add moisture to the hair, but it does not. It is a very light formula and is at best, an ok hair detangler. Not a quality product.

I would actually give this 3.5 stars if that were an option. I received a large sample of this (and the matching shampoo) in the latest Target Beauty Box. This is not something I would purchase simply because it is not cruelty-free, but I figured since I already had the sample I would give it a go for reviewing purposes.
The shampoo was pretty average even a little drying for my colored hair rather than moisturizing as it claims. However, I did quite like the conditioner. I have a ton of fine hair, and this did a good job of detangling and conditioning without being too heavy, unlike many “moisturizing” products. It also does smell lovely without being too strong.
I do think the price is a little high for a DS product at $9.99, but Target does seem to regularly run sales. But overall, while I do like this product, I think you can probably do better at the same price point at Sally’s.

I’ve been using the shampoo version of this. Target had a buy 1 get 1 50% off so I picked up another shampoo and decided to try the conditioner. The conditioner is perfect for my hair. It’s not super moisturizing like some conditioners. My hair tends to get weighed down with conditioners. It’s moisturizing enough and leaves my hair feeling soft without that nasty build up feeling. The smell is great but doesn’t linger on the hair. Overall I recommend both the conditioner and shampoo. The best I’ve found so far without being super expensive.

These are sold at Target and there are 3 different types. Moisturizing, Voumizing, and Root cleansing. They’re all silicone, paraben, and mineral oil free and have fruity scents. I bought the Moisture Conditioner Infused with Honey Apricot Fragrance. I’ve had it for about a week and so far really like it. It does what it claims and I’ve had no issues.
Packaging: The pump bottles are really convenient and I like the design a lot. The label is nice, not too fancy but not ugly. Simple and straight forward.
Scent: The scent out of the bottle is delicious, very fruity, though not overpowering. On my hair the scent is faint/if you get up close you’ll smell it but it doesn’t perfume a room. It’s pleasant and not too sweet and I particularly like it.
Moisture: While I don’t feel this is by any means a miracle moisturizing product my hair does feel more moisturized and I don’t feel I need any extra leave in conditioners. My hair isn’t weighed down, there isn’t any nasty buildup, and so I think it does do what it claims.
Overall: I really like the shampoo and conditioner. It moisturizes, doesn’t leave my hair weighed down, no gross buildup, smells good, and the pump dispensers are handy.
