I used this along with the matching shampoo. It’s a pretty average conditioner. The smell is okay. I love green apple and this one is nice and clean. My hair feels fine, soft as usual.
I picked this up with the shampoo because my scalp has been dry lately and I wanted to see if this would help, even though I don’t think it’s dandruff (which I had in high school). I’d buy this again if my dandruff ever came back and I use the shampoo with it. As a regular conditioner, probably not.

I use this conditioner on my scalp only, either before shampooing on dry hair, leaving it on for a few minutes, or after shampooing in the usual way. This helps to control my seborrheic dermatitis (which causes irritation, itching, and redness on my scalp, and also a bit of dandruff). It smells nice, better than some of the other kinds of H&S. By the way, I’d never use the H&S shampoo as it contains sodium lauryl sulfate which irritates scalp/skin, and also strips hair colour. Why do they include such a harsh ingredient in the shampoo? My cynical side actually believes they want people to continue to have scalp irritation, so that we will continue to buy these products. The conditioner is very thick and moisturizing (on the surface only) due to the high silicone content. I’m sure the silicone is there to counteract the effects of SLS in the shampoo…. I also want to mention that the packaging is very difficult to open with wet hands. PS. I got sick of the rather strong fake-apple smell after a short while. I switched to the regular H&S conditioner and the smell is nicer and more subtle in that one.

This conditioner smells amazing! I love the scent of green apples and this really captures the crisp, fresh scent of an apple. Also, it greatly helped managed my dandruff. I didn’t seem to have any problems with flaking or itching. It is somewhat moisturizing, however, it just isn’t moisturizing enough for my hair. I would definitely consider repurchasing it, but I’m hoping to find something that manages my dandruff and really leaves my hair frizz-free and soft.

I’m a Suave Naturals conditioner nut but juicy green apple was the one scent I hadn’t tried til now. This conditioner is a light consistency like the rest of the naturals but not so runny that it slips away from me in the shower. It moisturizes my fine hair and detangles amazingly well for a silicone-free product. I would place this one up there with Ocean Breeze and Everlasting Sunshine as a favorite. My only complaint would be that I wish the scent was a bit stronger. Also, they don’t seem to make this in the big value size bottle like the others. But those are minor gripes. Oh and I have to mention that this cost me a DOLLAR at Walmart. Super cheap but it works so well. I love this conditioner and will absolutely repurchase.

Excellent conditioner for a light rinse out. I like the Apple and Ocean Breeze the best with regard to the natural’s product line. They are both light and effective. I hate the Tropical Coconut as it does contain protein which my fine hair cannot tolerate. The consistency of the natural’s line conditioners are all different. These two are not heavy and waxy.

This smells great, is useful for CO washes, rinses well and doesn’t over-moisturize, which is why I deducted one lippie for those needing strong humectants. For me, it’s perfect: hypoallergenic, fresh scent, cheap and I can use tons without greasing up my hair. This conditioner, like all the naturals, is ideal for light, airy hair. It spreads easily and makes brushing easier. But people needing heavier stuff will either want a thicker product OR use a leave-in afterward. 🙂

I have everything in my bathroom from Suave products to Kerastase and Oribe products. I pair this up with the sweet pea poo and honestly the pair is just as good as any h/e brand I’ve tried. I have really baby fine hair so detangling is a cinch with this cond. with little effort, which honestly is totally impressive to me. I have tried $50 + conditioners that give no slip and left my hair a tangled mess. Only complaint is that I wish it had more of the green apple scent, it’s very non-existent after you rinse, but for $1.50 -$3.00 I’ll keep my complaints minimal.

It smells amazing. However, it did not moisturize my dry hair well.

Runny & thin but fresh & adequately moisturizing, this is a great conditioner for healthy hair. Doesn’t coat or weigh hair down, doesn’t make it greasy, rinses cleanly, & smells of fresh green apples.
It seems to be silicone-free (maybe?)…hope so. I don’t see any familiar silicone words in the ingredients list. Large bottle, tiny price, great deal.
My only complaint is the apple scent isn’t strong enough. Would buy again.

Great product for 3c curly hair! Smells amazing and leaves my hair soft and moisturized. Untangles my hair easily with minimum fallout. I only wish that it was formulated a bit thicker because I need to use a lot on my shoulder length curls. All in all, a staple in my shower!

My boyfriend had some of this at his place so I used it a few times but it makes my fine hair really poofy. The formula was very runny. It doesn’t moisturize my hair well. It ends up looking dry.

Pretty much hate all suave products. this conditioner doesn’t condition enough and tangles my hair. Also leaves a waxy build up too.

I’ve recently switched to washing my hair with conditioner only. I’ve been using the popular (and expensive!) wen conditioner, and it’s just left my hair SO greasy and lifeless. I bought a huge bottle of the suave juicy green apple condition for less than $2.50, which should last well into a few months. I used it and oh my god it’s amazing! It totally took out all the gunk that wen left in my hair. It smells amazing, and lasts well into the next day. It isn’t as thick as a usual conditioner, but I like that since it’s easier to spread around especially on my roots. This is my new hg and will buy the other scents to switch up!!
