I am so bummed with this product. I absolutely LOVE the smell of it, and it works decently except for the fact that it gives my hair MAJOR static. I can’t use it because the static drives me nuts. Too bad because the smell is so invigorating.

Terrible. It completely dried out my hair, and seemed to cause more tangles the more I worked it in. I rinsed and rinsed and rinsed, and my hair still felt weighed down and tacky after it dried. Packaging was fine, but I would never buy this again. Works great for shaving, though.

I have baby fine, thin, highlighted hair, this conditioner smells amazing (I LOVE rosemary) & definitely adds volume. Period. With a $2 coupon, got it for $4 @ Walmart. Will repurchase & try the shampoo.

I should hv trusted MUA for the low ratings of thi line, before buying into the whole range. The shampoo kinda sucks too. This one doesn’t feel like it moisturizes my hair enough, yet weigh it down when my hair is dry. My fine, straight hair doesn’t seem to stay in good place whenever I use this EverStrong range. And im not patient enough to wait it out to see if this range bring any long-term benefits for being SLS & paraben-free, etc. Waste of space in my bathroom.

I love the smell of this stuff, and it’s sulphate- and paraben-free but that doesn’t mean it’s free of other toxic stuff, or that it does anything to condition hair. I have fine dry brittle hair (after years of colouring). I stick products that are free of parabens, sulphates, petroleum products, and artificial fragrances. But my budget was tight, so I compromised and bought this product on sale. It has a fresh herbaceous scent (similar to Aveda) and leaves hair feeling clean, but does very little to condition hair, and I’m fairly certain that it’s making my hair more prone to breakage and fallout. Nothing else in my hair care or diet have changed, but my hair is really not happy. This might be an OK conditioner if you already have strong, healthy hair, but silly me, I read the description on the package and thought it might help my hair get thicker and stronger. Nope nope nope.

I first tried the l’oreal “ever” line back when it first came out 4-5 years ago and found it to be some of the worst shampoo & conditioner I have ever used. Recently I tried the new oleo line and really like it, and so I though i would give a few more of the “ever” products a try. Which lead me to this shampoo and conditioner. I was pleasantly surprised by the shampoo, it was creamy and lathered well, a little went a super long way, and it left my hair soft and clean but not stripped. Then I applied this conditioner and everything went south.
As soon as I started applying this I knew I had made a mistake. It felt just like the last time I had used this product, it barely detangled and I was pulling hair out left and right trying to work this through to my ends. It also didn’t moisturize, my hair felt dry and almost crispy while this was still on it. I left it on for a minute and still couldn’t get my fingers through my hair and then applied some of my trusty l’oreal total repair 5 condition to at least detangle. Once I rinsed it all out and start combing I noticed how tangled my hair was. When I dried my hair the dreaded static started, which is exactly what happened to me years ago when i tried this line. I ended up having to use some of my SO’s smooth balm to tame the static, which took care of about 70% but still, there was plenty of static left. In fact, the static lasted through the next day’s wash, and I ended up having to clarify and deep condition my hair to get rid of the lasting effects of this stuff.
Needless to say I will not be repurchasing, I don’t even know what to do with my 1x used bottle as this is so horrible I never want to use it again. Years ago when I tried this line I tossed 4 new bottles in the garbage after the first week (cause I couldn’t find my receipt), which is probably what’s going to happen to this conditioner too. I don’t know how they manage to make this conditioner so horrible, really, it’s like they’re trying to make the worst conditioner on earth, and they succeeded.

I use this along with the matching shampoo and am very pleased with both products. The conditioner is light enough for daily use without weighing down my dry, fine hair. I cannot say that my hair looks thicker after using this. It has a herbal-masculine smell that I like and it does not linger in hair.
