I have dry skin and scalp, and cold winter weather makes it that much worse. My hair is long (past back bra strap), with some balayage lightening from the midpoint to the ends. I didn’t have dandruff, but I would get dry skin patches and experience an itchy feeling on my scalp, especially around the edges of the hairline. I tried a lot of deeper moisture conditioners, coconut oil, etc. but nothing changed my scalp issues until I tried this. Finally, my scalp has stopped itching and my dry, scaly patches are completely gone! It’s amazing how much better my head feels since I started using this conditioner (and shampoo) over the last month. Even better, it doesn’t smell like a “dandruff conditioner.” It has a pleasant, subtle scent that does not scream “medicated” and fades quickly after rinsing out. I was afraid that prioritizing my scalp would mean sacrificing the condition of my hair, but that has not been the case. This conditioner (and shampoo) leave my hair looking smooth and feeling quite soft. The formula is very rich and really seems to sink into hair. The product may have effected my (unnatural) color a little bit, making the blonde very slightly darker, but it’s hard to say for sure because the difference is barely noticeable – and may be more likely because I haven’t had my color done again in six months. It definitely hasn’t turned the bleached areas brassy, however. This conditioner (and shampoo) have really helped soothe my dry scalp, while maintaining pretty, soft, smooth hair. The price is fair. My only wish for change of this is that it came in a big pump bottle! Highly recommend.
