I typically have never spent a lot of money on shampoo or conditioners, I like to save for the higher end styling products, as I thought the product stayed in my hair too little to make a difference. I am just about finished this conditioner and my hair is strong as ever, I see little breakage and have no split ends. It makes my hair so soft and sleek. It feels moisturizing in the shower and my hair feels so light after I use it. This is a great drugstore find.

So shocked this has such a bad rating! I’m on an extreme budget, as in Tresemme is out of the question unless it’s on sale. For the price, this is a really good conditioner. I had no complaints.

Excellent conditioner for this price! Made my hair soft and silky without weighing it down. And it smells amazing! Value for money

I damaged my hair by dyeing it dark brown over the last 3 years. This protein conditioner not only does not moisturize, it makes my color faded to a medium brown in 2 applications. Not sure how someone with dyed hair can use this conditioner at all.

This does what it’s supposed to; hair becomes manageable and so so so soft.
BUT it gave me a HORRIBLE rash on my face, neck, and scalp. So itchy I couldn’t sleep. Not worth it.

This is my first review, but my results were good enough that I wanted to share.
This is a really underrated gem of a conditioner for highly damaged hair. This conditioner is very moisturizing, and actually has a ton of protein in the formula, which is why I think people with semi healthy hair are having issues. I have hair that has been bleached white and use the CO method for minimizing damage. This conditioner has been the best of all of the mid range, silicone free conditioners that I have tried.
Smells good, creamy formula, and leaves me moisturized enough that I don’t always need to use a leave in conditioner after. Will definitely be repurchasing.

I have curly, frizzy, dry hair. Even though this conditioner FEELS slippery and thick, it actually made my hair feel MORE frizzy, coarse, and dry. Threw it away. Also threw away the damage eraser “heal and seal” treatment I’d night with it because of a sale. Not much of a sale when you throw both away!

I can’t believe all the bad reviews! This conditioner has saved my hair. I’ve been using it for about a month now and my hair is finally looking healthy and shiny again. 😀 Maybe it’s only good on a certain type of hair. Mine had been bleached and dyed and it was very damaged and very dry, but after my first try with this conditioner I could already see an improvement. Now, my hair is finally growing again since its so moisturized and soft!

Cheap but okay detangler! I use it only on my damaged ends! And only a little bit of it because I have fine hair and don’t want it to weigh it down!

I got it because it has no silicones in it. It did make my hair a little dry, however my curls looked so healthy, crispy thick and shiny.
Usually most protein conditioner are drying….but for a protein conditioner this was much less drying than other protein conditioners. It was even less drying than the shea moisture coconut conditioner. But if you want something more moisturizing just get one without protein. I will alternate this with a non-protein conditioner a less frizzy look.
Pros:
Very healthy, crispy thick, shiny hair
It’s silicone free= no buildup
Cons:
A little drying because of the protein
