This review is for the gold version. Didn’t make any noticeable difference. It’s a cream spray so you need to spray in your hands first and then work in. The texture was on the sticky thick side so I went thru product fast. Tried this b4 and after blowing with no results.

While I like other Kenra hair styling products, this isn’t one of them. It’s just an okay leave-in conditioner that is rather overpriced. It really doesn’t do a whole lot in the way of detangling or leaving my hair feeling softer and for a salon brand, I expect more.
It has a nice scent and doesn’t leave heavy film or feel unpleasant; it’s just bland.
I’ve always used drugstore leave in conditioners and this was my first foray into the salon brand ones and I think there are better ones out there waiting for me to try.
If you’re wanting to try the Kenra line, I recommend giving this one product a pass and check out the hair sprays.

This does nothing for my fine but thick, curly long hair. I can use it, not use it, use a lot, use a little, just doesn’t matter. Doesn’t make my hair less dry or frizzy. It’s not sticky or goopy, and it doesn’t weigh my hair down. It really does absolutely nothing. It’s like spritzing with water. It doesn’t even smell good enough to justify using it for that.

This is just a basic spray leave-in for me. Doesn’t weigh fine hair down, though, so that’s good. Smell was really nice. Won’t repurchase becase the low-end version of this is the exact same ingredients for more than 1/2 the price (Elasta QP H-two–at Sally’s). Anyways, I prefer Joico Daily Care Detangler leave-in.
Update 11/16/10: I don’t know how, but I have gone through 3 bottles of this leave-in this past 11 months. I am currently growing out a chemical relaxer and this has been my go-to detangler spray when prepping my hair for blowdrying/heat straightening. So I have to change the lippies because between this (a little more moisture) and the Joico detangler (which has a little more protein), my hair has been stress-free.

I really prefer spray-on leave-in conditioners to all other conditioners. BUT, my hair is very long and very thick. This 1 has a fruity-ish smell, does a pretty good job at helping with tangles. it has a thick-ish texture (vs watery) but doesnt clog the sprayer. Plastic bottle, comfortable and easy to hold, spray,use. I dont really notice any improvement in my hair with it, but I use other products for that. for this product my expectation is that I can comb through the tangles after washing, and that my hair will be shiny and bouncy. so the only place where this product could be seen as failing is the smell- which is a tad too sweet for me.

I stopped using this when the packaging was changed. THe price stayed the same, while the volume reduced by a couple ounces. It was already pricy to begin with. Though it’s a nice product, it doesn’t justify the price.

While this isn’t a bad product, it just isn’t anything to write home about either. For the price, I know I could have gotten something just as good/better at the drugstore. FWIW, I have fine (but lots of it) wavy highlighted hair.

I have been using the Kenra line for ages, but in the past I have stayed away from spray-on, leave-ins b/c I always felt that they didn’t really “do” much for my dryish, curly hair. Lately however, I am finding that in years past, I was probably ‘overconditioning’ my hair and that lighter products that offer slight moisturization actually work better! This holds true for this little gem of a leave-in. It’s ‘just’ enough for my loose curls. It smells wonderful too! A definite repurchase!

Great leave in. The ingredients are all good, it smells like fruit and flowers, and it really detangles and conditions my hair. it is 12 bucks through but im a picky person when it comes to hair products and this is well worth it. I also added a drop of the IE deep conditioner to make it moisturize more
