I bought this because I saw so many reviews raving about the scent. Initially I was not impressed. The bottle is small, especially for the price. The bottle is also difficult to squeeze to get product out. I would much prefer a softer plastic and more squeezable shape. After using it though, I really like it. The scent was not as strong as I expected. Today is the day after washing and drying and if I bury my nose in my hair I can smell it but only slightly. I’m not a big banana fan and dislike some coconut smells. This product didn’t smell like coconut once applied and the banana reminded me more of a banana pudding smell. I did like the scent. This product worked very well on my straight long medium thickness and fairly dry hair. It made my hair shinier than it has been and gave it body. (As usual I did not apply to roots). It also appears to have helped it hold a curl better though can’t be sure that was the reason until I use it more. It costs too much to be in my regular rotation but I will continue to use when I want my hair to look extra nice.
