I have been using this ultra moisturizing conditioner for over 3 years. I use whenever I feel my hair has too much protein and needs a strong humectant. The product does what it says. It restores and rebalances your hair’s PH level. Therefore, you must know if your hair needs protein or moisture. I usually leave on for 15 minutes and rinse. It does an “ok” job at detangling. But it does a great job at moisturizing. It is usually a hit or miss with people but it works for me. For reference my hair is very dry, coarse, wavy and color treated.

Great stuff. Saved my hair. I even use it without shampoo.

I use this after the protein treatment because I want to follow the instructions exactly but they need to reformulate this without the mineral oil. I usually leave it on for one hour with heat or several hours without and my hair is easy to comb through and shiny but that could be the silicones…It is ok to use it once a month or whenever I do the protein treatment but they really really need to remove that mineral oil.

I started using this with their leave-in conditioner and my fine, dry hair probably has never looked better. (I also use their Aphogee Treatment protein.)
This balancing conditioner doesn’t feel super-slick but my hair looks great with it and is shiny. I had been using Fekkai moisture pack, will probably alternate with this.

The reason I purchased this balancing conditioner was to use along with the Aphogee protein treatment. I like that it contains glycerin, phytantriol and silk amino acids. But why does it contain mineral oil as the 5th ingredient? It does leave my hair moisturized but I can feel a film on my hair. And as the day goes on, my hair starts to look and feel greasy.

Not your typical conditioner. I like super richconditioners but not on my scalp cause my hair gets greasy easily. So… I use this one on my scalp and roots and another conditioner on the ends (richer). It is wonderful for oily hair.

This is the worst conditioner i have ever used. It didnt help untagle my hair and the worst part was that it contains mineral oil which clogs up the pores in your hair which is unhealthy and it doesnt moisturize your hair at all. I really dont reccommend this.

So this was a suprize. Well, considering the type of brand Omorovicza is maybe not that much, but this is a product I love that I would prefer not to, as the price is just… I mean this IS a luxury brand. I got this in a beauty box last month and was really excited to try as I wouldn’t normally pay over 100€ for a moisturizer. This is a gorgeous product. Nothing has ever mattified my oil-slick face like this, and this is by no means oil free or drying. I don’t know how they do it, but this feels light, hydrating, and nourishing without being heavy, the scent is light (maybe lavender), the texture is lovely (thicker than a lotion but melts into the skin), and to be honest you don’t need much to cover an entire face (and more often then not I’m quite heavy-handed)
4 lippies because price. I don’t think I will be able to afford this when it runs out. But I must say I’m now considering not bying any more makeup for 6 month to buy this afterwards instead. Maybe if I get a 20% off or something… I don’t know. So I’ll say I would repurchase because I love it. If you can afford this, knock yourself out.

this a good light weight moisturiser that is very gentle on the face and neck. I am using it in the Aussie summer as i dont find it quite up to our cold weather. I wish it gave a little more moisturising benefits but it does seem to be good for oil control While i am a hugh fan of Queen of Hungry mist and carry a bottle everywear and i love the masks I find the serums and moisturisers are not as effective wellfor me anyway. I am going to try the Radiance Serum and Illuminating Moisturuser next and see if i am more impressed with their performance.
If you want a light easily absorbed smells good product then i would say please give it a go but i would not buy this again

This is very nice. It’s light but still has lots of moisturising ability. It’s comparable to Dr Hauschka moisturising cream which is actually a lotion. I will let you know which is better when I have used it for longer. I really like this lotion.

This is one of the best products in the line. I didn’t think it was very interesting for a night cream (and I thought it would be too light), but it makes my skin feel like butter in combo with the essence. I am now mixing it with others like the Illuminating Cream.

I like Omorovicza products but they are expensive. I bought this product after using a few generous samples from a trip to Niemans. I liked the smell and texture and still like it but found it made me slightly greasy by the end of the day. This could be as a result of the mix of this and my Josie Moran sunscreen so I don’t want to say this cream is at fault. It isn’t really a cream either, more a light gel-cream. It is light and refreshing for summer in DC but wasn’t creamy enough for our harsh, cold winters. I am trying the Illuminating cream for the remainder of winter instead. This cream didn’t cause any breakouts and the smell is lovely. The glass bottle was a bit tough to travel with but kept things sanitary until the last drop.

LOVE this moisturizer! It makes my face so radiant, dewey, rosy fresh and energized. I have combo oily skin that I treat with retinol and/or glycolic/lactic acids once or twice a week. I was looking for a good daytime moisturizer to protect and pamper my skin under spf and this is no ordinary moisturizer. Let’s just say I never knew my skin was ruddy, sensitized, and on edge UNTIL this was applied on top of it. Wow what a difference. That’s when you know you needed something you didn’t even know you needed.

This lotion was recommended to me as someone using the Differin .5% adapalene acne treatment gel, which can be very drying. Needless to say, I am using this gel because I have acne-prone oily skin. This lotion has lots of great ingredients (avocado oil, Vitamin B5) and provides an easier skin surface on which to apply the Differin gel (we all know that can be a bit of a pain). It does not absorb super well, however, and it feels both slightly greasy and not quite moisturizing enough, if that’s possible. My main issue is that I’ve discovered I am not reacting well to the tocopheryl acetate (lab-created vitamin E) in this product, and it is causing my skin experience slight burning and redness upon application. Some people cannot tolerate tocopheryl acetate well, and I am one of the lucky few. If I were not sensitive to the vitamin E, I would continue using this product until it ran out but would not likely purchase it again due to the unpleasant texture. However, if you are using Differin gel, this lotion is under $10 and a little goes a long way, so it’s not a large risk to try it out.

Updated review:
This is basically Cetaphil lotion except they use avocado oil instead of macadamia oil in the formula. It also has fatty alcohols and synthetic ingredients if you care about that.
I use this every day as my night cream. I can ONLY use it TOGETHER with Differin Gel Topped with Benzoyl Peroxide (wash face, apply a LIGHT layer of moisturizer, let dry, apply differin gel, apply a thin layer of Benzoyl peroxide on top all over). The acne products I use at night are drying, so the Differin Balancing moisturizer helps to keep my skin moisturized. It’s a balancing act, and I don’t slather my face with this moisturizer either.
On its own it feels filmy and itchy, and makes me look oily. If you have skin prone to breakouts or oily skin, I would advise against using this as a stand alone moisturizer anywhere except on legs or arms. If you are going to use it, couple it with acne treatment actives at night. Its not good for daytime for those skin types either as it breaks down makeup quicker and breaks down mineral spf quicker as well. If you want a stand alone, no frills, night-cream, I’d suggest getting Vanicream Light lotion instead. I apply it on a damp face to help it hold on to more water.
On its own this moisturizer is INDEED moisturizing (which is great) but it gives me lots of whiteheads and some closed comedones If I use it regularly and especially under makeup. I used it today under Neostrata spf 50, and in 8 hours I can already see raised pimples, whiteheads around my nose and chin, and new pimples frigging everywhere. I don’t get too angry anymore if new products break me out because if I did, I would go insane. So yeah XD

This bottle that I have should last a while, should I need to do another protein treatment anytime soon. I’m not exactly writing home about this conditioner because upon using it I still felt the need to deep condition. I could feel any difference as far as moisture after I used the 2 step protein treatment and then this product. I thought the balancer(?) would restore some moisture to my hair.

This a great conditioner. I like this brand. A pro Hair colorist told me once that your hair products should have a good ph. For example your shampoo should be formulated to be used on your face. I know I wouldn’t wash my face with Pantene. 🙂

The only reason why I used this conditioner was it is a vital step when using Aphogee’s Two-Step Program – which I abandoned using in early 2009 since the smell of this treatment literally made me loose my cookies to put it politely. However, I did not like the way this conditioner made my hair feel dry and tangled so I went back to my beloved Nexxus shampoo and conditioner and I have never looked back.
