This gives my hair some weight where I need it and hydrates well. I avoid using it near my scalp as it can make that area greasy for me. I love that it has a lot of good hair oils in it. Perfect to use now that summer is here and I need something to add moisture and keep frizz down.

I am shocked that this is touted as a leave in conditioner. I will admit that I have naturally curly kinky hair that can be drier than the Sahara desert (4a/b/c porous, dry scalp) but this product for me was no better than using water and baby oil. I have used this for about a month until I couldn’t take it anymore and returned it (Thank goodness for Sally’s return policy).
For detangling properties, there was none. It didn’t leave my hair moisturized, even when I put it on damp (not sopping wet) hair. I even tried twisting my hair, which helps retain moisture for my hair but it was a bust. I even used the DoubleButter Cream on top and my hair was even drier eight hours later.
I wanted to like this line because the creator of this line is also responsible for theKeracare line.

Yay one of my favorite leave-ins! I got it one day at Sally’s after going to FOUR different Targets to find all the Kinky-Curly leave-ins sold out! I was pretty disappointed because I usually only use KC when the weather’s warmer, but the woman in Sally’s insisted that this leave-in was on par with tha kurly. I liked the smell and this price was okay, so I bought it. And I am so glad I did! I love its moisturizing properties despite its thin consistency, and the fact that it doesn’t take much to work, so I’m not trying to conserve how much I use so I don’t go through it too quickly. I’ve had it for two months and still have over a quarter of the bottle left. Not to mention, I can use this both in winter and summer and have my hair feel just as good afterwards, regardless the weather. If I tried to use Kinky-Curly in the winter to moisturize my hair, my follicle would probably give out from laughing so hard. Also, like someone said, it’s protein free, which is fantastic since my hair has enough protein and I have to make sure I don’t get products with protein too high on the ingredients list (I always air dry, never dye, and flatiron maybe twice a year). I will repurchase when it runs out, for sure.
As for Target, they have Kinky-Curly in stock again, but as far as my buying it goes I’m just going to leave it on the shelf from now on.
