After a brutal summer of attempting to go sulfate/silicone free with fancy products that left my hair feeling overly thick, coated and straw-like (and looking so awful that I didn’t want to leave the house), I decided to go back to my old favorite combo – Aussie 3 minute miracle and suave daily clarifying shampoo.
I went in for a bottle of my old favorite 3 minute miracle moist, but saw this ‘smooth’ version. It was a tough decision to stray from something I knew worked so well. But the ‘smoothing’ aspect won me over as my hair’s current state was a perfect circle of frizz. Plus, it’s only $3.
I like this even better than the original. My hair has life again. The combination of this with the clarifying shampoo really helps with the humid climate and my well water.
I thought this was a guilty pleasure due to the silicone. I’m nearly finished with the bottle and I have been just waiting for my hair to start rebelling from the build up and all the evil things that people say happen with cones. I was happy to see that a reviewer below commented on the silicone types used in this conditioner, and that they do not build up as much as other cones.
I can’t believe I went through almost the entire summer with a giant frizzball tied up in a scrunchie. I will never be without this again.
