I tried to use this for ages but had to throw it a away in the end.
First of the coloring was way of for me, very orange and to dark. It’s a shame this has such a narrow selection of colors because you cant blend them together, and not matching the skin makes pimples and zits stand out more.
I liked the IDEA of a pencil concealer, with anti-blemishing properties none the less! But sadly this is just very, very cakey. I made a mess when applied over a pimple (I would not use it anywhere else due to ingredients) and didn’t conceal anything.
The sharpener cap is ridiculous. It did work, as a sharpener, but it didn’t stay on and was unsanitary to keep in a makeup bag. I took the black cap of the brush and used it on the pencil side. It didn’t stay put but was better than the sharpener.
The brush end fell of, but a part from that I was actually surprised at how dense it was considering that it’s sort of a “disposable” brush. It did leave streak marks and “dragged” the concealer away while blending, but I blame that on the cakey and unbendable concealer. I had to apply the concealer on the pimple and blend AROUND the pimple, if I went directly over the pimple the brush, even just lightly, it would take away any and all coverage.
Bottom line, I would not recommend. Even if you were able to match your skin tone, this is not a good concealer.

I love the concept. I mean the pencil concealer with salicylic acid in it which comes with a sharpener and a brush? Sounds like a dream to me for my acne-driven skin. I liked the coverage and also the texture but there is one huge downside. It’s orange. I own the lightest shade which is called fair, I believe. and it is just so orange. I can’t even say anything about staying power or whether it cakes or not because I was never able to wear it because it’s just so orange.
If your skin has very warm undertones I think it could work for you. It definately won’t work for all the pale people out there like myself. I would recommend it for covering blemishes, never under eyes as it contains salicylic acid which can be pretty drying and most likely not good for your eyes. And also it’s qiute heavy.
To conclude, if you need to cover blemishes and can find a shade that suits you, go for it.

This was ok.
I would not repurchase but it was not that bad.
If you have light spots here n there this would be a nice fit.
I would not use it under eyes as it can be cakey and also drying.
The brush end is ok if in a hury which also makes this a nice fit to through in your bag for touch ups on the go.
Price is great.
The medium shade was a tad too dark for my medium skintone.

I’m kind’ve surprised by all the bad reviews as I really love this nifty little item. It not only works on my blemishes, it actually works on my dark circles! Of course, it’s a little tricky to apply there, but once on and blended in – viola! And let me tell you, I have some DARK circles. And I’ve tried everything known to makeupland and THIS – that I got at my grocery store, of all places, for a buck – works better than any high end product I’ve tried.
I also used the ELF Eye Primer in Golden to cover up my “tea stained” eyelids, and it works great for that too!
ELF is really upping their game, IMO!

This concealer works really well at covering my natural redness and minor blemishes, but doesn’t work extremely well under the eye area. Another thing is that it doesn’t really stay too long on my skin, but gets a little better if you set it with powder.

Coverage is so-so, kind of hard to blend even with a finger, the brush fell off after like a month? This product was just disappointing.

I’m sorry but I logged in just to warn that person not to use this product in their waterline! The description says:
“The medicated formula has active Salicylic Acid & Tea Tree Oil to clear blemishes and reduce scarring.”… and those can’t be good for your eyes, and may in fact be dangerous.
I think lip & eye kohl (meant for waterline) pencils may be used interchangeably, but you need to be careful about using other types of products on vulnerable areas.

Reborn as a waterline eyeliner, this is fantastic. I lined both upper and lower lids and inner corners with this and hours later, I still had that bright eyed look.

Ehh…Doesn’t really cover too well for me and the brush ends up taking alot of the concealer off, But this works great for lining the waterline, the texture is good and I love how convenient the packaging is

I received this product as a freebie from E.L.F. within an order that i had made. Honestly, I don’t really care for this product. It doesn’t conceal blemishes all that well. And, I don’t fell that it really does anything to aid with healing them at all.
