Definitely not medium coverage. This product didn’t do anything for my undereyes and seems to have barely anything in the bottle. The wand is not hygienic to use. I prefer the pump. Definitely multiple steps down from Macs Pro Longwear concealor.

I went to ULTA to replace a tube of Shape Tape but after chatting with the consultant I bought this concealer instead, and I am very pleased with the purchase. NC-30 is a great color match that provides good coverage of the allergy-aggravated dark circles under my eyes without looking unnaturally bright. Application is easy and the concealer stays in place well past the end of my work day with no setting powder needed to keep it from creasing.

This is not finely textured enough and clings to dry skin and wrinkles. I did not like this at all and look better without concealer altogether. This is something you need to try, don’t buy blind like me. It feels like a cheap drugstore product and lasts but goes patchy as the day goes on. If you have a perfect under eye area then this may be better for you. Pls try it out first.

I usually wear the little pot spf35 one or pro longwear but wanted to try this out (it was bw this and Nars radiant but I’ve used that so many x and wanted to compare). I got shade nc42 to use on my very tanned (for me) nc44 face. It’s quite a bit lighter but I like that to brighten that area up. It doesn’t crease on my 40-yo skin AT ALL. I use the Becca corrector in medium/deep first. I apply both products with the Mac slant top concealer brush #270s which I loooove for any concealer but I have to clean it more frequently than my other brushes (I guess cuz it is holding super pigmented concealer). And I was pleased to find out that Mac recommends this brush to use with this concealer since I’ve had it for a while. I mainly stick to inside corner and blend a little out and down — my darkness is mostly there and not blending to the outer corner of my eye minimizes smile crinkles. I’ve used with studio fix fluid, powder+, and the new studio fix stick. Also just with drunk elephant d bronzi as foundation. I usually do a light dusting of Laura Mercier GLOW (only glow the original makes me look 100) translucent powder over everything… I don’t “bake” or usually use any special setting powder (well sometimes I use my Mac mini powder brush which I believe has been discontinued to dust a tiny layer of Becca under eye powder). I also use this on my nostrils which get red from blowing, layered w whatever foundation I am wearing that day and set it w powder+ and it helps from tissues wearing it off there for a few more hours. This is prolly not FULL full coverage, but I use the Becca corrector underneath, and it’s light and most importantly for me: doesn’t crease and lasts til u take it off. I’m glad I didn’t get the Nars!!!

This is honestly such a good concealer. There’s a lot of things I want to say so lets break it down.
1. The shade range is very confusing but also very extensive. I have a fair, yellow under-toned Indian skin tone and I got shade matched with NC43 which shocked me. Its not a dark shade by any standard, it looks more yellow than anything else. The shades don’t correspond to the foundations but don’t worry about it and get number/sticker shock.
2. The formula itself is thin but not watery. I personally like this because thicker formulas can be harder to blend and don’t look as natural. The product is easy to layer and doesn’t ever cake up and look unnatural. The concealer feels very comfortable and light. It doesn’t feel like I have anything on. The product doesn’t settle into fine lines or bunch up. It has a natural matte finish that appears very skin like.
3. The coverage is said to be full but I feel like its more of a medium coverage which is something I like and don’t really mind. The concealer still manages to cover my dark circles without making me look grey. NC43 is a perfect match for my skin tone which means I can wear this concealer alone with just powders and it doesn’t stand out on my face and look weird. You don’t need a lot of product to cover problem areas but If you did the concealer still ends up looking fresh and non cakey. It blends into my skin seamlessly. Speaking of blending, this product is so easy to blend! I use a MAC brush to blend and buff it into the skin and it doesn’t streak or look patchy at all. I’ve even patted it in with my fingers and gotten the same result.
4. The doe foot applicator is small but flexible which makes it easier to get product out and distribute it evenly.
5. It is a higher end product so it is a it more expensive but its so worth it. You get what you pay for and this product does not disappoint.
6. This concealer stays put of my face for 11 hours and doesn’t budge. I sometimes keep it on when I’m going to the gym and it doesn’t run or streak off even though I’m sweating.
Overall I would 100% recommend this product for anyone looking for a medium coverage natural finish concealer.

I’ve had this a few days and so far I am impressed. I read the reviews on the MAC website that said to go a shade darker and I did (I’m normally NW20 and I got NW25) and it looks natural. It doesn’t look like I have concealer under my eyes. What really impressed me was I tried it on after a hot yoga class and my skin wasn’t washed and it lasted and didn’t crease. It did not blur my lines under my eye but it did not emphasize them either. I like the doe foot applicator and I use the RT sponge to blend it out. I have worn it alone, with powder and Face and Body and so far really like it.

NC15 is a great match. NC shades in the range are more yellow, imo suits asian skintones really well, almost like Korean brands.
Can be sheered out to look really natural for colour correcting purposes. Doesn’t smear where glasses touch the face.

I’ve been looking for the Holy Grail concealer for my dark circles since forever and I’ve never found it, not sure I ever will. This isn’t it either, but it’s one of the better ones. I am normally an NC20 but with this one the shades run lighter so I was matched to NC25 which is brightening without being too light. It has medium coverage (reduces dark circles by 80%, but doesn’t fully cover them in my case) and surprisingly it didn’t crease at all – which basically ALL concealers with the exception of YSL Touche Eclat do, in my experience. It also didn’t dry my under eye area and didn’t make the fine wrinkles more apparent. Overall, a very decent offering.

It’s okay. I think it’s best to describe this as a weaker smashbox studio skin 24 hour concealer. It dries very quickly (you can only do one eye at a time) and is medium coverage. The shades are 2 – 3 three shades lighter than the corresponding shade name in the foundation line. I think they had the intention of helping you pick out a “brightening” concealer, but who cares, I do not want a dramatic Instagram brightening effect and it is confusing. Also, the NC shades seem to run much more yellow than the foundations (a plus for olives out there).

I decided to give this a try after years I had not used any MAC face products, as I often got disappointed by the formula and the pacakging … they never worked for me (i really love their lip products, though).
Every concelaer creases on my under eye skin- never had great luck with concealers- and with my undereye skin turning drier in winter (and with age) I was curious on trying that.
A big mistake!
I was very shocked to be matched to a NC 35 (what???!!?) shade, when I am usually a NC 20-25, I mean that is 2-3 shades darker. As other have noted, the shade range is completely messed up so you must check you shade by swatching it.
I had the Mac lady applying this concelaer in my under eye area, but as I had makeup on already and the result, even with a never ending blending and a brush application, resulted patchy and uneven, obvious and unnatural. I should have refrained at this point.
I thought “that’s because I have foundation and powder on already, at home I will have a smoother result”. So off I went with the concealer (and other 4 Mac items, as there was a promotion running).
While I am very happy with the shade match, the formula is hugely disappointing. It will dry fast, creases like hell, will look cakey no matter what primer you use underneath, and look pretty obvious & unnatural. Wasted money, and again no trust and no confidence in MAC face products: they just don’t work for me!
I don’t know if I will ever finish my tube, fact is I cannot recommend at all. I tried meanwhile the new Estee Lauder 24 h concelaer (The duo end one with primer on one side of the tube and concealer on the other side): that one is a winner, review coming soon!
