Hmmmm. Don’t really like this. Had expected more from this!
This concealer clings to the dry spots and fine lines and looks kind of crumbly or flakey if you look closely. Which I wouldn’t expect because the texture is so tacky, which is normally more forgivable on dry skin than dry formulas.
pro:
– nice packaging
– little mirror
con:
– accentuates dryness and imperfections
– coverage is ok, not super bad but not godsent either
– highend pricetag

My concealer of choice for the past several years has been BeneFit’s Erase Paste, which I find too thick and oily in consistency. However, I enjoy how blendable that product is and its effectiveness at masking blemishes, open pores etc. This is my first Stila product.
Stila’s concealer offering gives me the best of both worlds: oil-free formula, great at camouflaging little flaws, and largely sticks to its “stay all day” promise (whereas Erase Paste would invariably have been rubbed off my nose by midday.) I struggle with shine control throughout the day, and although Stay All Day hasn’t worked miracles it leaves less of a greasy sheen on my nose than Erase Paste. In addition, like Erase Paste I found that Stay All Day is just as user-friendly. Even a makeup novice such as myself can apply and blend effortlessly.
This would get one more star if you got a more generous amount of product for the price. I have moved on to Benefit’s Boi-ing which gives you more bang for your buck.

I bought this at my local shoppers drugmart in the hope to cover my dark undereye circles and some redness around the nose/mouth. I was able to use a tester in the store to verify this was the right colour for me. I like the consistinecy, it’s not too thick and not too thin, sort of gel like. It doesn’t get cakey or dry. It does a pretty good job at concealing although I can still see the dark circles I don’t expect anything to hide them completely.
I gave a 4/5 because of the price, for such a TINY amount of product it should cost less, or double the amount of product for this price. Didn’t take me long at all to finish it and that’s without daily use, I used it in rotation with my other lower end concealers for work etc.

I badly need concealer for my dark undereyes but have been unlucky with concealers as a product category, even higher-end products like Lancome Effacernes. Somehow they always a) cake or b) are either too bright or too sallow on me, either way revealing that I’m wearing concealer. But I’m really taken with this Stila concealer. I bought the shade “Bare” in the standalone concealer (as opposed to the foundation/concealer duo) from Hautelook and already worry they’ll continue it, as it’s now on sale at Stila’s website. As previous reviewers say, its light creamy consistency is perfect for dark undereyes. It goes on pretty sheer at first, but with another tap or two builds to such a natural finish that it disappears into the surrounding skin. It’s the first concealer I’ve tried that actually conceals itself. If you can find a matching shade, I really recommend trying this.

Love this. This is what I wanted the MAC studio finnish concealer to be like. It has a creamy gel like consistency that makes it so easy to blend in. I use this under eyes and on blemishes, it works excellent on both. It is more of a natural coverage concealer,it is not like a heavy duty coverage concealer. The finnish is so skin like, you can’t even tell you are wearing concealer at all. A weird thing that I also love about this is the little mirror, the small size and the little mirror makes it perfect for handbag status and travelling.

I’ve never suffered with spots until recently, so I had to find a good concealer to hide the horrible things. I saw this online and read a few good reviews and the price wasn’t too bad.
This is lovely for under eye dark circles and hiding the fact you have no sleep (like me), it’s a perfect texture and coverage for these issues.
To cover my little break out it’s good, not brilliant but good. It’s best applied just by tapping gently with your fingers, a couple of dabs in the pan covers an imperfection. It keeps them masked all day and keeps redness away great. It’s not too good for dry skin like my own, it’s very creamy and nice when applying but dries very matte.
There isn’t a great amount of product in the pan, and my lid snapped off the pan easily which is a pain when I’m going out or just trying to pick it up on a morning.
For the price it’s good but I’m going to move on when It’s gone (soon, it hasn’t lasted long at all.) The shade was also perfect for my very pale skin!
This review is for the separate concealer not the duo.

***************There is a concealer/foundation duo by Stila. This review is for the separate concealer.*********************
PROS: Stays on me longer than any concealer I’ve tried; concealers, that is, that don’t dry my eye skin out. Basically, a concealer either runs right off my skin or makes my wrinkles stand out more because it dries me out. This one actually stays on and doesn’t age my crepey undereyes even worse than they are. I’m N-15 (leaning SLIGHTLY toward NC) and 06 “tone” color is perfect for me. The “light” 03 color is a bit light and quite yellow (it’s the first pic). The “bare”(01) and “fair”(02) were too pink and a bit light for me. They all look darker in the pot than it appears on my skin. Price is fair at about $22.
CONS: Can cause clogging when I use it anywhere but my eyes.
APPLICATION TIPS: Works great when I use my concealer brush, followed by my fingertips tapping/blending or a very small flat top brush (great for blending). My new happiness I’ve found is using MAC’s tinted moisturizer under my eyes (Yes, under my eyes!) and then Stila’s Stay All Day Concealer only in the dark circles. By doing this, I don’t highlight my puffy bags underneath my eyes. I’ve heard of people using foundation under their eyes before, but it’s always looked horrible on me, until I tried that MAC t.m. Anyway, the Stila on top really does the trick of truly concealing the circles and making sure it will last even longer.
ALTERNATES: Dior NudeSkin Perfecting Hydrating concealer is good too, but the closest tone/color match was a tiny bit pink (not a lot of variety of colors.) It also runs on me sooner than this.
PURCHASING TIPS: I get this separate, like this (not attached to foundation), at Ulta or Nordstroms. I wish Sephora would sell it separately, but mine doesn’t.
