It creases like crazy, even when you set it with powder. It’s made in China and even worse, there is quite a lot of formula’s that are EXACTLY the same sold on Amazon by brands like UCANBE, CCBEAUTY, etc, that you can buy for $9.99 or less with your Prime membership.

I’m on the fence about this concealer.
PROS: It has suuuuper high coverage and you only need a teeny amount if you’re covering imperfections or using it to contour (which it’s amazing at). It has a dewy finish, which is good for those with dry skin but maybe not-so-good for those of us with oily skin. I always have to set it thoroughly with powder before I trust that it’ll stay on my face.
CONS: It’s a really soft formula in a jar, so it inevitably tends to get all over my finger. I feel like I always end up with too much product even when tapping lightly into the surface. Ideally, you should use a flat brush when using this concealer, but I’m not someone who is patient enough to do that when getting ready in the morning.
Also, I’ve been trying to use it under my eyes but it creases by the end of the day, even after I bake it. I think this is a concelaer that should only be used for imperfections / contouring but not under the eyes.

Being 48 yo, with combo skin, I don’t really ever use a thick pot concealer, most are just way too drying. I normally use NARS RCC for under the eyes, and TheBalm TimeBalm concealer(which is potted, but super creamy), or TooFaced Born this Way for my face/blemishes…I decided to give this Anastasia a try after reading good reviews, feeling that I could return it to Ulta if I hated it. I am quite surprised at how creamy it is for a pot type concealer, and it works really well if I pick some up with a flat concealer brush that has been sprayed with rosewater, it helps it to warm up and spread easily… Because you get so much product, it really is a good value over most other $28-35 concealers I use. Definitely recommend!

After seeing ashley tisdale using this in a tutorial i was interested lol. I thought i saw bad reviews about it so i ignored this concealer for a while and was interested in NARS soft matte but that one is like $38 so i figured id rather try this one which is $25(CDN) instead. I got shade 1.0 which is alright for my nc20 ish skin because I match my undereye concealer to my face. Its actually pretty creamy and works well under my eyes, and on blemishes and redness. I usually do my undereyes and redness before I apply foundation because I know after foundation where my spots will peak through and I think it looks more seamless when foundation is blended ontop incase the concealer shade is a little different. I havent tried this around my brows yet cause i heard it works well, but I am not really into “carving” out eyebrows with concealer, I usually just place a tiny amount around the edges of my brows to clean up any brow product that smudged around the edges and it doesnt look carved out at all. This concealer lasts long on me and doesnt crease under the eyes as far as I notice (im bad at checking in through the day to notice any touch ups needed). Id reccomend it and i think the jar will last a long time because I only use very little product each time. Oh and the only reason i gave it four lippies and not five is because I think it COULD be a bit creamier and the packaging is not as heavy as id like, theres almost always a bit of room for improvement. Its not PERFECT but its really good!

I have this concealer in 0.5, which is a dead-on match for my NW10 skintone. I have very dry, eczema-prone, and acne-prone skin.
I bought this primarily to conceal my under eyes, although I hoped that it would be good for spot concealing as well. The coverage is superb – you only need the tiniest dab of product to cover undereye circles and redness. It spreads out well due to its creamy texture, although it helps to use the warmth of your fingers to blend it. I really like using this for my under eyes, because I get the coverage I want while using the absolute minimum of product. It still creases a little, but a bit of setting powder helps with that.
However, this will not work on patches of dry skin. If I have eczema on my nose that extends to my under eyes, I cannot apply this concealer anywhere near it, because it will catch on the dry skin and look chunky and horrible. I sometimes have scaly skin underneath my acne (thanks eczema…) so when this happens I cannot apply it to those areas. But if my acne is normal and not dried out, it does a great job at covering it.
Overall, this is a high-coverage, creamy product that works well for skin that is not too dried out or in an eczema flare.

Works well! Only need a tiny bit for FULL coverage.

Amazing Concealer. I love it!

I don’t enjoy reading long reviews so I will try and keep this short myself..
this concealer is very overlooked in the makeup world but it shouldn’t be. It’s full coverage, Creamy, hydrating, blends beautifully. I have compared this next to the new mars full cover matte concealer that comes in a pot and this wins. If you set this with a good powder (I use RCMA no colour powder) It will look flawless until you’re ready to take it off. I suffer from a lot of under eye lines and this doesn’t settle in the lines at all! It’s actually on the cheaper side compared to high end concealer but you will never run out since you need a half a pea size or less

I am on the market for a concealer in either a tube or a pot. I’ve tried numerous traditional concealers (with the pot of liquid and an applicator) and although I may like them at first, eventually these concealers cause me to break out even more from the bacteria that builds up on the wand. On my search for pot/tube concealers, I decided to get a sample of this one based on the rave reviews I heard from the youtuber Emily Noel. This product is a middle of the road product for me. The concealer is very creamy and pigmented, absolutely perfect for the under eyes. The shade selection is spectacular and I can’t image someone who wouldn’t be able to find a concealer shade that suits them. However, while this is a very good concealer, it can’t do everything for me. My skin is more normal-dry, but I don’t have dry under eyes so it works for me. However, my blemishes get VERY dry. Because this concealer is rather thick, it gets caught on the dry skin I am trying to conceal and makes my spots look even more dry. For that reason, I will not be buying a full size version of this. This is a nice concealer, but like all makeup, not for all skin types. If you have dry or mature skin, I would not recommend this to you. If you have normal or slightly oiler skin, I think it would be worth a try.

Solid 3/5 for one reason only. This concealer is AMAZING for under the brows. It creates a flawless finish and stays intact!
