I bought this in Malaysia six momths ago and it’s too bad that I can’t find it back in Switzerland. No Shu Uemura here!
I was looking for a concealer that suit my skintone (yellow-toned slightly tan Asian skin, which can be translated to medium I guess. I don’t have any precise MAC reference) and that is waterproof. Because I sweat a lot and easily. Mine is medium.
It doesn’t break me out. It’s pretty pigmented but I think thicker concealers exist so its coverage must be medium but build-able! The thing I don’t like the most is the packaging. Why that cushion spongy thingy? It’s not really hygenic and it absorbs some of the product. That’s why I always take out an amount on the back of my hand. It works well though, so I won’t complain anymore.
This concealer finish looks matte to me. And it clings to dry patches (ever since my bad experience with CLINIQUE’s clarifying lotion 2 sighs). Besides, it never did anything to my skin, though my acne-prone one.
As far as I can remember, the price is… ugh. But I’m no heavy makeup user so this little tube will last me very long so I don’t mind too much as long as I can use it and as long as it shows naturally and nicely on my skin with no weird smell.
If I don’t find anything else that great, I will repurchase it!

I like this product because it’s the only concealer to look relatively natural whilst simultaneously having enough coverage to camouflage blemishes. The finish is a mixture between matte and dewy, as it doesn’t look as flat as typical matte concealers, neither does it appear greasy after a few hours, like typical dewy concealers. The coverage is definitely decent but it isn’t incredibly full coverage, although it is build able! Another bonus is that it doesn’t break me out and believe me most cosmetics break me out within minutes of touching my face..

This is a relatively new concealer from Shu Uemura. It costs SGD$56, the most expensive concealer I’ve ever bought.
It is creamy but the texture gets a little tacky after a while so that it could actually stay put on one’s skin a little longer. It is very easy to blend and the shade 7YR-L Light Beige is actually a spot-on shade for my fair neutral Asian complexion with slight yellow undertones (I’m leaning more towards NC15).
I use this mainly for my undereye circles. It covers 80%–not full coverage but I can live with it. It creases slightly, so I must set it with a light dusting of loose powder. On blemishes, it tends to wear off easily though the coverage is quite good (moderate, I would say). It does not last well through a day (maybe six hours?) of perspiration but under the eyes it works fine as a good everyday concealer.
This is a twist-up tube where the twist mechanism at the bottom of the concealer dispenses a small amount of product through a sponge-like doe-foot applicator. To me, this is a potential breeding ground for bacteria so I always apply it onto the back of my hand first prior to application.
I would repurchase. Not the best undereye concealer, but I do enjoy the natural look it gives. It’s easy to work with too. Oh, and I must mention that it does not cause breakouts and it gives a slight cooling effect upon application–maybe because of the Depsea water in it?
