I am also torn about this $25 concealer. I chose “Trotula” – a light, neutral shade. A bit yellow – but you need that in a concealing product.I like it – not sure if I love it enough to re-purchase. The whole line is clever and pretty pink, sleek packaging, but many of the ingredients have ‘cones (I will be reviewing the serum – which is not a serum in my opinion – later).
The problem with these “hybrid” products that claim to be skin care AND cosmetics in one, is that most of the time the accomplish neither well. This is NOT a heavy-duty concealer, but it does have optical brighteners. I have not used it long-term enough to determine any benefits from a skin care perspective.
Meanwhile, it’s a Good – not great – product.
Website is appealing and well designed.

I’m torn about this product because it’s good, but it’s not good enough to justify its price. It’s just too darned expensive. I like the coverage and the formula. It strikes a nice balance between moisture but also dries down relatively quickly as long you apply it in layers per the instructions. It’s best squirted out onto a palette or the back of your hand and then applied with a brush. I powder it or it creases like most concealers do on me. (Only KVD doesn’t require setting on me.) Color range is somewhat limited. Considering the expense, I probably won’t repurchase.

They offer trial sizes which is good. I tried it out and thought it seemed like a good fit so I bought a tube. Well, the color was a bit too yellow for me and tends to cake but the worst thing was it started to separate in the tube after about 2 mos. You only need a little bit so I thought it would last quite a while. If I shake the tube, it seems to help a bit but frankly for the price, I’m disappointed in the performance. Back to Nars!
