I actually really like this pen but can’t use it cause i’m allergic to an ingredient (found out later on).
It’s slightly creamier/thicker than the Touche Eclat but it also offers more coverage. There’s still a brightening affect although maybe slightly less compared to the YSL, but has a nice natural radiant finish that isn’t drying/caky. I also don’t find that it breaks, cracks, or settles in lines all that much.
All in all, sad I can’t use it. It’s a fantastic product.

This product has the finest sparkly glitter. You can barely see it but noticed in my magnifying mirror. It conceals by using a highlighting technique like Touch Eclat. It does not conceal red veins around the nose or anywhere around the face. This is just an okay highlighter that does nothing special that a cheaper brand could do.
The product did aggrevate the skin around my nose area.

Whenever I try something from Clarins, I am never expecting to be disappointed so this was shocking. This is not the worst under eye concealer I have ever used, but certainly not worth the $38.00 I spent. The container comes with a brush on one end for application and blending, and at the other end you turn a section that clicks to send the make up to the brush. The first problem with this is that you can’t see how much product is being dispensed until you see it on the brush, and if you can see it on the brush, you’ve dispensed too much. Secondly, the brush is awful, the only thing it is good for is putting it on youre face, any blending needs to be done with a blending tool or your fingers.

I bought this as a replacement for the YSL touche éclat. It’s better! It has a little more pigment than touche éclat. I think the price was also cheaper. Like t.e., this is not a concealer but a highlighter; I use it to even out some areas of pigmentation around my mouth and sometimes on top of undereye concealer. I would definitely buy this again.

I bought the gold pen version Instant Light Brush on Perfector. Amazing! I was using another concealer that was making me look like I had defined fine lines starting to appear but after using this (after reading great reviews) I can honestly say it makes you look like you don’t have lines appearing (assuming you don’t really as it doesn’t perform miracles). The coverage is very good in terms of hiding darkish bags under your eyes but if you are mainly wanting to cover very dark circles maybe try something else. This is fantastic if you have a bit of darkness under eyes and want to wear a concealer that doesn’t make the finelines appear. The illuminating effect makes you look really good! Brilliant product. Highly recommended.

I purchased the gold-pen version of this product (Instant Light Brush-on Perfector) in shade 01 for my NC20, neutral to warm complexion.
I have to admit that I’ve recently fallen in love with Clarins. I’ve purchased their famous Beauty Flash Balm, several lipsticks, and now this concealer. All products have really impressed me in terms of quality and shade selection. I often find it difficult to choose flattering shades for my neutral complexion because most brands seem to focus on warm and cool shades with very limited selection in between.
This concealer is a neutral shade with a hint of pink in it, so it neutralises the darkness under my eyes well without making me look ashy. It is creamy without being thick and oily. It lasts all day and creasing is minimal. It hasn’t irritated my sensitive skin which is another plus. I also use this is a highlighter on my upper cheeks, nose, etc.
I’ve tried many concealers (by Revlon, MAC, Bobbi Brown, Bourjois, etc.) and most have been too dry, cakey, or the shades haven’t been quite right for me.
However, this Clarins concealer is fantastic and I will probably repurchase it unless I find something better.

This Instant Light Brush On perfector is a product from a series of 4 the complexion perfector being a product I have already reviewed, the best. This product comes in a pen package so it is sanitary and isnt exposed, two things I always look for. It was mentioned in a magazine as being good at making you look younger and this is true. You use it as a perfector/concealer and brush it along fine lines and dark areas. It reflects light creating the illusion of young unlined skin and adding brightness, a key factor in youthful look. I have been using the complexion perfector and decided to splurge at 36 Can for this product and I dont regret it. I have started to buy products that I really like rather than trying cheaper counterparts and not being pleased. It isnt really a savings if the product isnt meeting expectations. If a product is $$$ I always ask about their policy prior to purchase. Usually they offer a refund if not pleased. I have only had to do this twice over a long period wheras cheaper products often sit unused and cannot be returned. I got this in shade 001 which is a rosy beige that blends well with light complexion. It is available in 3 shades as are I think all 4 of the products in this line. I will likely purchase the primer eventually but will stick with eye primer by Lise Watier as I am satisfied and it is 10 cheaper approx. This is great for people 35+ who have taken care of their skin and need a little help with brightening and fine lines. Worth the money and I have tried 4 or 5 other products that claim to do the same thing. Stick with well known brands who are willing to guarantee their productsa, there really is no risk!

I hope I am talking about the same product as my one is also in a brush form but in a golden packaging.
I have originally bought this product as an undereye concelaer but I have realised very quickly that it is not possible to use it that way when you have dark circles AND undereye bags.
My shade is yellowy-creamy no 02 and under a closer inspection it seems to have a faint golden reflections in it (I would not describe it as particles, there is however something superminuscule that reflects light).
When placed in my undereye area (not over my undereye bag, mind you but underneath it so to minimalise the shadow and in the very internal corner of the eye) it just accentuates the puffiness which is not a good look. It sets quickly and does not go into the creases and wrinkles but it just makes the puffiness much more prominent.
So I have ended up buying another undereye concealer (this time without any light reflective properties) and now I am wondering how the heck I should be using this one as it was quite expensive (£24) to have it laying in my makeup bag unused (in Scotland you are no able to return a product unless you have got a leprosy thanks to it – then you might try to wrestle the SA and create the whole palava including a sales manager of the hole department store – otherwise no way).
I hope I will use it as a highlighter on top of my cheekbones, though frankly I do not need this type of a highligher in my routine! (I have a different product for that purpose).
I was tempted to buy infamous and even more expensive Touche Eclat or a simmilar Dior product but I think I will ask for a makeover before committing to my next bad purchase.
I am not saying it is a bad product, it just does not work as a PERFECTOR for me in any way.
