I have used a lot of awful products in my time but nothing tops this. Absolutely nothing!
When the brand Makeup Revolution launched I was pretty much blown away by how cheap and ‘good’ quality most of their products were so I went on a haul…….and concealer being a staple in my collection, I had to purchase 2 of these. They were cheap, I think they initially sold for just £1 (these are now £2 a pop) and given how their other products had been cheap but super good, I didn’t really fuss over the price too much. Big mistake as one should always be weary buying too cheap as there’s always a catch and the catch here was the awfulness of this concealer.
It did absolutely nothing to cover any of my blemishes and is also very light coverage even though it is advertised as full coverage. It dries on super fast so one has to work very quickly to blend out and once blended, it leaves a white cast where it was applied. Setting powder doesn’t do much to rectify this. Theeeeeeen the staying power is so weak, maybe 1-2 hours before it just slides off your skin. This also tends to make me super oily so I’d need to retouch every so often.
The packaging though I like. It comes in a tube and has a wand applicator that’s slanted at the tip for easy application (just like a lip gloss) and the tube is clear and the concealer gives it its colour. U can also see how much product is left which is always a plus.
This didn’t break me out or irritate my skin but as previously mentioned, is very oily.
I also think this might work for people with dry or moderate skin…….or people with clear skin who need light coverage. This is particularly bad for oily skin or covering blemishes.
I will not be repurchasing.
