   OMG….!!!! I gave the same PASSIONATE opinion of this concealer. I’ve used it for almost 30 years! Anytime I’m open to seeing if something has been developed better I’m shot down. In the past month I’ve been trying Nars radiant concealer. The color was challenging and I finally found something that matched Effacernes light bisque, but a tad lighter which I need in the winter. I ordered Madeline from Nars. It’s just like custard but a shade lighter. this isn’t a Nars review but it’s the comparison. Nars is excellent , but it is still not Lancome effacernes. to start the value is the same price and over double in Lancome. sanitary way to apply being in a tube is best. I’ve been doing what I call a case study lol to compare and Nars is closed but not as Sous creamy and unnoticeable as lancome’s. The fact that it’s waterproof alone is amazing! I don’t have the Fine Line creepiness but I did find with other concealers over the years no matter what age they can bring about a texture that looks older because he skin is so thin under the eyes. I was using this in my twenties and now it’s 55 years old it’s still the best concealer out there! I never wrote a review on it but after reading this previous 1 you struck a chord in me with my passion for it being the best. I would say I ought to know because I’ve been a makeup artist since I was 16. I guess you wouldn’t say it’s an opinion… It’s a fact that it’s the best. it doesn’t get the hype but maybe that’s because of Lancome not needing to pay YouTubers Etc. I’m not saying YouTubers lie I love finding new things through them. the review about me is right when she says to try it! one way tiny amount on a fingertip then press together tapped on each eye and eyelid is all you need. I did just purchase a kabuki is CL a brush and I’m not sold on that either. I think the finger works best. and oh… This makes an amazing primer! You get the perfect color base canvas to apply your eyeshadow. Mine only creases very minimal but after 12 hours like anything would do. and really it’s only detectable to my eye as I notice it when I take my contacts out. I do always go over with my setting power lightly, but you should do that with an eye primer anyway. yes, definitely give it a try!! a tube last me a year 🙂

   I have the worst under eyes, they are crepey, there are fine lines that are vertical as well as horizontal. My under eyes are dry as the Sahara desert even though I slather on expensive thick eye creams every night….honestly, they are just a nightmare. I don’t have very dark circles, but I do have bluish discolorations from my inner corner in a half moon shape. Plus, I wear glasses for nearsightedness so they cast a shadow as well under my eyes. So, they are a hot mess. Now for the last 46 years I have tried EVERY concealer known to man to try to 1. conceal the blueness 2. lighten the shadow and 3. hide some of the lines….with absolutely no success. In fact, I ended up making myself look like the crypt keeper. What’s a girl to do after spending ridiculous amounts of money on high end and drugstore concealers only to be disappointed time and time and time again? Well…keep trying, because isn’t that what we ALL DO?? I baked, I tapped, I used a sponge, I used a brush, I didn’t powder, I powdered, I misted, I air dried and yet….I had the Grand Canyon of wrinkles under my eyes. THEN I FOUND THIS CONCEALER!!!! I am not joking. You hear about products that “changed my life” and you roll your eyes and think yeahhhhhh sure it did…but, let me tell you THIS CHANGED MY LIFE!!! I use one of those tiny sponges, I get it damp, I apply the tiniest little dot of concealer to it, and I then apply that to the inner corner of my eye and down the blue half moon ONLY, I then tap tap tap until it is smooth and concealed to my liking and then I LEAVE IT ALONE. No powder, no fuss. It does NOT settle into the wrinkles, it does NOT make them look worse, it does NOT fade and look weird by the end of the day, it does NOT MAKE ME LOOK OLDER!! I honestly, am done looking for concealer, I will use this one until I die, or they discontinue it. I know it’s a bit pricey, but it will last forever (if I need a new tube in the next 10 years, then I’m probably using too much). It’s waterproof so it lasts through my hot flashes, it gives me a lightness under my eyes, and I don’t need to add powder to it which means nothing looks dry or cracked and for once in my life, I actually LIKE how my under eyes look. If you are looking and looking for a concealer and you can’t find one that works, TRY IT, if you don’t like it, save your receipt and return it, but if you just try it, you’ll see….you’ll see why I love it, and then you’ll write your own glowing review and thank me, and I’m just going to say “you’re welcome” now and save us both some time. 🙂
