note: I used it 5 or 6 years ago, so I don’t know if the formula’s changed.
after Stick cover [I think that was its name] by Maybelline was discontinued, the seller recommended this, and I really wish I hadn’t bothered. I hate it, I still remember how much I hated this. I even bought it twice because I was clueless back then about makeup and didn’t really think of trying something else.
it hurts to blend it , it barely moves and you know the undereye area is a sensitive area so even with fingers it was so difficult to use. though I appreciated how much it brightened naturally and it did have slight shimmer in it which was okay, but it also concealed NOTHING, you can literally apply coats and coats , NOTHING.
it works a bit on small blemishes, and I found its texture was great as eye shadow primer, makes eye shadows last, but only if the product is not close to finishing, I used it as eye primer once when it was nearly done, it was so hard to blend even then! I was surprised because it had worked as eye shadow primer before. I just removed it and used something else, was angry by it and just threw it away.
I only recommend this, if you have very fair skin with no darkness or discoloration or hyper-pigmentation. just need a bit under the eyes or if you like to highlight, or need a tacky eye primer, it’s really a matte highlighter stick sort of product rather than concealer. the words concealer and creamy should be removed from it. and the name rightfully altered.

It’s so crazy how products seem to work so vastly different from person to person.I absolutely love this concealer for my under eye circles. I find it easy and quick to apply and unlike others who seem to get no coverage and a lot of shimmer, on my skin it blends away to a natural, non-shimmery finish, lasts all day, and does not crease into my mature skin. It’s the one thing I will put on my face of I’m not wanting to wear makeup, it instantly make me look naturally light and bright. I plan on stocking up given the negative reviews I’m seeing here… it reminds me of the way YSL’s Touche Eclat reacts with my skin at a fraction of the price.

I’m surprised by the negative reviews on this product as it’s now a must have for me. I was using the Lumi, which I liked but when I rant out Target didn’t have my shade so I grabbed this instead. I went up a shade to light rather than the fair I would normally use, because I think really fair shades allow any blue from my under eye area to show through. The light shade works perfectly for my under eye area ( is a neutral to slightly yellow color) & is pigmented enough that I don’t need to use very much at a time. I’m very light handed with products around my eye area as my eyes have always been wrinkly. If I were to pile on the concealer it would just make it worse. Much like the Lumi this stuff doesn’t seem to cake or crease. It is not full, opaque coverage but, again, it has enough pigment to do the job (at least for me).
I am not noticing the shimmer or glitter that some have pointed out, to me it gives a natural matte finish. I tried it out in place of foundation today; after my sunscreen & primer I spot applied it around my trouble areas then topped with loads of powder. So far it looks pretty good but I’ll have to see how it holds up against my exceptionally oily skin.
Bottom line, even if this doesn’t work out for me all over my face I will definitely keep repurchasing it for my under eye area. If you have under eye circles that aren’t too severe or mild skin blemishes this may work for you on days when you feel like skipping foundation. I think it would also travel well & could serve as a multi use product (I may try this under eye shadow).
EDIT: So I’ve had a series of relatively good skin days & have been using this in place of foundation & adding the shit load of powder my greasy skin needs. I’ve also used it on my eyelids to even things out & it works well. This is a definite repurchase for me.

I really love most of Maybelline products and this concealer looks like a good thing but I was not too impressed as it’s not very blendable or creamy as a name says. Wearing moisturizer underneath this is imperative especially if you’re going to use it under the eyes. I don’t know if I would buy this again.

Was left a bit disappointed with this product altho the price is amazing ofcourse. I found it very thick and could not blend it easily at all, after a short while is behind to crease and actually ages the eye area in my opinion, so now I use it as a back up base for under eye shadow

I thought this looked interesting. A brightening creamy concealer. This is very creamy and smooth to apply, but it blends away to nothing but some fine shimmer! I’d say I have medium range of dark circles. All this seemed to do was accentuate the dark circles because of the sheerness of the formula and the shimmer. Called attention to it. I wouldn’t expect this to cover any sort of acne or issues of that sort. Also it wore away very quickly. Not worth trying.

I love stick concealer because it’s so much quicker to put on. This has micro shimmer in it and conceals well

It has a good coverage but it is so thick and almost impossible to blend out. Simply a meh product

I’ve tried everything to hide my dark circles. I’ve even went with the peach, yellow corrector with skin tone concealer over it. This stiff needs nothing else under it!
It covered and brightened the area, I’m so impressed!!#

I use this product on my eyelids on the days that I do not use eyeshadow to brighten up my eyes. I rub it on and then smooth it using my fingers. It acts as a basecoat for my eyeliner.
