This has to be the most maddening product I have ever bought. I was at the store, had a stray zit, saw this for around a dollar so I picked it up on a whim. I applied it, and it did help to correct the redness so I continued using it. Then I started getting breakouts more frequently on my jawline (I sleep on my hands so it has happened on occasion). I just thought it was hormonal and applied more corrector. Since I do not have sensitive skin, the thought of a product causing the problem hadn’t occurred to me. Then I started getting multiple pimples at a time. Up to five in a condensed area which was highly unusual for me. This green corrector was the only change I had made to my daily routine. The entire ordeal took place within two weeks. I stopped using the product and my skin has started to clear up. So heed my warning ye collectors of makeup. Run. Run far away from this abomination NYC calls a corrector.

I wanted to try a green concealer and got this thinking the price was amazing. However if you think of it, for its quality, the price is not that amazing. It did practically nothing to cover my eyebags, was so difficult to blend and I had to use other concealers on top of it. What’s the use of a sheer concealer? Maybe I’m not using it well enough – I used a brush. Perhaps using fingers to blend will be better but I really doubt so.
You get quite a lot of product in the lipstick-like packaging but I’m predicting this will last me ages because I will not be using it much. Maybe I will use it to brighten up my under eye area? Not sure if that would work either. Quite a waste of money, even if it’s considered cheap.

I really liked this concealer. It was super cheap too! 🙂
I think I got it for only like 2 dollars and it really eliminates the redness on my face. Very pleased!

I loved this product , I found it wallmart for 2$ and I decided to try it . It’s honestly so great ! It covers over my red parts in my face so well and is a must have when I break out . I think all the people who hate on this product just aren’t blending it in right !

When I decided to get a green concealer I was at the drugstore and I had a choice between NYC for $3 or another brand for $6. I did not know if I would like it so I just went for this one because it was less expensive. This really makes my redness less visible. I use it under my concealer and foundation, and, like other reviewers have stated, it kind of fades. I think it might work better if I use it over my foundation but under concealer, so I will try that out. Overall, I really like this product and I will definitely repurchase when I run out.

I actually liked this more than the skin toned NYC concealers. Must blend or else you’ll end up looking like a bird poo’ed on your face

I’ve once again been duped into buying a green concealer stick. When I try to apply under foundation, it wipes away. Above requires additional concealer to conceal the green.
Spend your money on a more opaque concealer.

I understand that green correctors/cover sticks may be applied to the skin and have a slight tint that will be covered nicely with foundation or regular concealer, but this particular cover stick did not work well at all. It did not blend well (yes I tried doing thing different ways, including warming up the product, applying with fingers verses brush, etc) and did not cover up redness very well (although this may be because I have redness all over my cheek area and not just in a few spots). I do not recommend purchasing this red corrector product.

This was such a piece of shit, oh my gosh. It doesn’t blend, so instead of redness or a blemish, you just have this green smudge on your face that nothing will cover up.
But I bought it for like 1-2 dollars, so you get what you pay for, eh?

this is my first review and i just have to say this product was terrible. i REALLY wanted to like this b/c it was ONLY A DOLLAR! however when i first open the cap, the cover stick fell OUT of the tubing. WTF? i had to pick it off the floor and clean it up a bit. i use a blow dryer to have a more easier and smoother application but the cover stick dryed up pretty fast before i got a chance to put it on. i use a conceraler brush but that didn’t work so well. i used my fingers and that worked better. it did have a good coverage but you just can’t wear it alone of course. however, what made me hate this was the fact that my face started to itch and i putted some on my hand and my hand started to get a rash! i quickly took off the product and wiped some salacic acid cleanser on my face. luckily, i didn’t break out from it b/c i took it off right away. i read the ingrediants and it had TALC in it. Talc causes breakouts.
i would recommend this product to those who are on a budget and aren’t acne prone and doesn’t have sensative skin like me.
i’m returning this product the next time i got to my drugstore again.
