I picked this up due to one of those “buy X amount, get 3rd free” or something like that. I do like Essence products in general, but was a little suspicious of the crayon format; I’m quite dry and usually they are too dry/cakey for me.
I do moisturize very well under my eyes before makeup; I’ve used this under my eyes only (don’t have any dark spots, and this color isn’t suited for covering blemishes or redness), and I was pleasantly surprised by its creaminess and blendability, yet it stays put and didn’t crease. Note I did not use any concealer or powder over this. It worked as well as many higher-end undereye correctors, and it’s now my go-to for a quick look; I may get one for my purse for out and about touchups. I’m quite fair and this is light enough for me, so may be too light for those with a darker complexion.

I like the shade of this. It blends easily and feels soft and light on the skin.
However, it does not offer that much coverage. I didn’t think it covered dark spots well at all.
Because it blends easily it also wipes away if you use it under foundation and it did not look good over blemishes. It stuck to the skin and any dry patches.
