I have the shade Light-Medium and I have fair to light skin (nc15-20) with very dark undereye circles. For reference I wear the neutral light shade in Tarte Shape Tape and sometimes Light Sand. This light peachy shade works perfectly for me even on its own. It has a super creamy, thick formula, it’s highly pigmented and provides medium to high (if layered) coverage. It gives a dewy, natural effect on the eyes and I really enjoy it for this reason. If you like the dewy natural finish of the Bareskin concealer by BareMinerals you will like that too. It slightly reminds me of the corrector by Bobbi Brown (light bisque) but the latter has a thinner more gel-cream formula whereas the Tarte one feels more creamy and moisturizing. The only thing I don’t like is that its emollient formula is too heavy for my undereyes when I use it on a daily basis, meaning that it gives a bumpy texture to my undereyes. For that reason I have to use it more sparingly throughout the week. I had the exact same issue with the Tarte Creaseless concealer.
Besides that I would recommend this product! I think it offers good coverage, it’s great for people with super dark circles and it looks natural on the skin!

I have dry under eye with a big purple darkcircles and eye bags.
Package: why there is no mirror? Small mirror becomes handy when you travel or touch up. Other than that the package is ok.
Coverage: I dont expect it will be super high coverage. It reach my expectation and it is my go to when im in a hurry.
Consistency: it is creamy , moisturising. Perfect for under eye unless you have oily under eye. Need a setting powder (not oil control) to last longer.
Shade: wish they could have 3-4 shade for all skin tone im using light to medium .it could be too light for me in the summer but i can still work with it.
Not a must have product!

This color corrector is fantastic! Much better than one from another well-known company that I had used for years, I had to mix shades to obtain my shade(NC35-44).Its available in 3 shades medium-tan works well for me. I have Melasma(skin darkening), on cheeks and nose. This product is very effective under concealer.I also use under eyes,Pricey and contains 0.08 oz of product, its a little cream compact. Definitely does work.

This terrific corrector is different from any other corrector/concealer that I’ve tried and I’ve probably tried 30 of them (samples and some I bought). The computer image doesn’t show the color realistically. I bought Light-Medium which I think would work for many skin tones. There’s also a darker version.
I was resigned that I would never find a product I really liked for my dark circles but I saw a youtube review of this and decided to try it.
I don’t need to put a concealer on top of this. It conceals my undereye circles better than anything else I’ve tried. I used a basic moisturizer underneath and applied with a little brush. It didn’t need powder to set but I dusted on the tiniest bit because although it has a matte finish, it is also quite bright so I muted it a little. Just a miracle product.
I even wrote to Tarte to thank them. If you are terribly frustrated with undereye circles, give it a shot. You can get it at Sephora which has a great return policy if it doesn’t suit you.

My hg undereye concealer. I like creamy concealers over the watery ones because its easier to apply and i can control the amount of product i put on my skin. I even use this on my acne. Ive tried a lot of different concealers and this one lasts a long time plus its a good price. I like the color because its a bit more salmon peachy than your regular yellow toned ones. Ive had bad experiences with concealers giving me that ghostly ashy cast under the eyes.

First of all, the only reason for 4 lippies rather than 5 is I give 5 only for “perfect” (for me) products, and there aren’t many of those. That said, this is a stellar undereye “corrector” and like many of you, I’ve tried a lot of them.
I picked this up when on sale, saw at Ulta and tried it on. I’m pretty fair, and initially thought, “Oh no, that lighter color is going to be too dark!”–but it wasn’t. Let’s recall, this is a corrector, not a concealer; the idea is to help cancel discoloration with its color opposite (blue with peach).
I’ve had dark circles since I was a child, and age (61) has not improved them. Also with age, it becomes less of a good idea to trowel on layers of makeup; looks really bad. Even though my skin can be problematic at times, for me the idea of face makeup is to even out color/texture and perhaps disguise some flaws. I do not seek a matte, flat, featureless plain. So for me, something that’s not too makeuppy-looking is a good thing.
My philosophy in “covering” undereye circles is “less is more”; that is, apply just enough to counteract the darkness and leave it be. I do usually apply a bit of light liner or eyeshadow to the lower lashline (which I may set with a bit of elf undereye powder–but JUST on the lower lashline, not under the eye). (I don’t use mascara on the lower lashes, I feel it calls attention to the dark circles.) So, I moisturize under the eyes very well (in layers). I do my eye makeup first, then facial corrector as needed, then foundation; then I work on the undereyes. I tried and found the “triangle of light” not to work for me; I think it’s not really for older people.
First I blot any excess cream under the eyes. So, using a tiny thin brush (elf concealer), I draw a thin ribbon of this corrector directly over the circle. I blend carefully using another concealer brush (ecotools airbrush), and perhaps tap a bit with a fingertip. Now, due to the creaminess and opacity of this, as long as I don’t apply too much, it doesn’t crease, and I don’t need to use concealer or powder over it.
A common complaint for older people is that undereye lines are emphasized when using makeup under the eyes. I avoid this by applying NOTHING but eye cream from the lower lashline to the undereye circle; that ribbon of skin (which has some fine lines) is left bare. So, nothing to crease or cake.

While I like this concealer, I said I wouldn’t buy it again because I got it for half price & it will probably last me a couple of years.
That said, this is a lovely cream concealer which is great for those of us with lines under our eyes. It applies well whether one uses a brush, sponge or fingertips. It doesn’t sink in and holds up over the day. I don’t use a powder over it (fine & deep lines are magnified with powder & must be used sparingly).
The drawbacks are that there are only two colors; I use medium and only when I have a self-tan. The light is too pinky peach to use on my natural skin. It’s expensive, too, and due to the limited colors, I recommend It cosmetics bye bye under eye corrector (not the concealer in a tube). This has identical coverage and almost identical texture except it’s creamier & easier to blend. Just remember to tap & not rub, since pulling your skin causes damage and over time, that will show.

I love this corrector! I have the shade medium-tan and it’s the perfect shade for not only correcting dark undereye circles, but also for canceling out acne spots a tad. I thought the whole color correcting trend was a fad, but this has really won me over!

I have terribly dark under-eye circles, so I am always on a hunt for the next best corrector. This little baby by Tarte is hands-down the best corrector I have tried this far; it is similar in consistency to those by Becca but is easier to use because you can just pop it on, add a tiny bit of concealer and you’re done! I guess this product is a low-maintenance and I am all up for that!
The texture is very creamy (you can read more about wear and who might benefit more from this corrector on my blog: partyparrotblog.com) and I find that it does cover my under-eye circles perfectly. The only thing – I wish the packaging was more “high-end”, this product costs 24 USD but it is made of cheap plastic and there is not even a tiny mirror attached to it bo-hoo.
Other than that – I give it my A+!

Okay first things first. I have combination/oily skin. Meaning my T zone and eyelids will get oily no matter how much I set with powder. Anyways on to the good stuff.
I had high expectations for this under eye concealer. It comes only in 2 shades light or medium tan. On my NC20-25 skin, it looks appears a bit orangey (maybe that is its intent) but definitely too this with skin Colour concealer. The corrector is really sticky to touch and even when applied but it gets less sticky after awhile if this makes sense. Just remember to powder and set. It creased on me anyway so meh.
Did it make my under eyes less dark? Hmm sure a little but after so many layers.
Also I don’t know why but maybe I accidentally pressed too hard on the center when closing the box or knocked the casing too hard but when I opened the box it got everywhere! So messy ughhhh would have been better if the packaging was in a tube or something.
Overall, It’s so so and not worth the money tbh $38SGD for a small amount eek
