I love foaming cleansers and have a few favourites including most shiseido cleansers but I do believe this is my number 1 and it was the smell that won me over, very divine

This is an AMAZING foundation. I have never been more sure of anything in my life. Okay, maybe I’m exaggerating a little bit but everyone has to believe me when I say this cleanser is amazing. Total game changer. Umm, well…I should say that Shiseido, IN GENERAL, is amazing. I’m pretty sure every one of their products works amazingly well for each individual’s needs.
Now let me tell you why…
BRIGHTENING! I loooove how much this brightens my complexion. This was one of the first products I used for brightening & I was so happy to see a dramatic change in my skin. It made me fall in love with brightening products & I ventured out into using different brightening products from Asian skincare brands. This is one of the best! For me, brightening is not really just about brightening, it’s about clearing up my complexion and that is something I used to struggle with. Ever since using Shiseido and other Asian brightening skincare products, I no longer suffer from that.
Products like these also help to make your skin look less dull and more supple. It does a great job of preventing you from losing moisture & moisture is soooo important for our skin!
IT REMOVES THE MAKEUP! You’d be surprised how many cleansers I’ve used that leave behind so much makeup. I’ll admit that this cleanser doesn’t remove the extremely stubborn mascara (like the Shiseido mascara) but it removes pretty much everything else. Foaming cleansers are a must for me because they work so great in removing all the makeup.
Lastly, it’s the packaging. I’m in love with Shiseido packaging. The White Lucent is my favorite style of packaging and I don’t feel like you get this same soft pink and shimmering white anywhere else. I’m just obsessed with this packaging! It’s also one of the most conviently packaged cleansers. Just flip open the top and squeeze it out.
Wait, this is the last thing. You might think it’s expensive but it’s totally not! You use so little at a time that this bottle lasts forever! Literally, all you need is a tiny pea-sized amount, because once you rub it into your hands it foams up a lot!

Works well in cleansing makeup, but strips my combination skin of all moisture and leaves it pretty sensitive and rough. Will not purchase again especially since there are many more products that work well, don’t contain harsh chemicals and are less expensive. At this point, Shiseido is just being lazy with their product development.

THIS CLEANSER BURNED THE CRAP OUTA MY SKIN. Omg I used it once and was so red and irritated and my face felt like it was on fire so I cleansed again with my normal cleanser to calm it down and it felt worse. Ahhhhh plus I got a huge zit under the surface on my cheek the next morning. So scary around my eyes still burns when I wash my face even with spectro gel days later. I hope it stops soon !

Foams well with a tiny amount so the product would last a long time which makes it economical to use but it stripped my combo-oily skin. Will not repurchase.

I’ve been searching for this cleanser my whole life. Luckily, my TJ MAXX carries some high end products, and this brightening cleansing foam happened to be there for 12 bucks. The smell is similar to YSL products, clean. The lather and foam is awesome. It only requires a small amount. Easy to rinse. My skin is prone to eruptions, and cystic acne. I have used daily for 2 weeks. Not a blemish has appeared. Even if I cant find it again for 12 dollars, I like it so much, I will be willing to pay full price to replace it. One thing I will say, if you have dry skin you may feel a little tight after using. Maybe a good serum will help.

I’ve read many reviews of this product, and people have cautioned it causes breakout. Not sure if they should be believed because each skin is different, I decided to give it a try. Now I have more breakout than ever, exactly what others cautioned. I will return the product tomorrow. I should have listened to other people’s reviews and warnings. I don’t recommend the product because it can cause breakout. It’s also very drying. My skin started flaking, even though I moisturize twice daily.

I love this cleanser it minimizes breakouts brightens my complexion and definitely gets EVERYTHING off of my face lol. If you don’t appreciate a cleanser that will make your skin squeaky clean then this one might not be for you. I always notice a difference after about a week of using it that my skin is much brighter. Shiseido in general is just a really amazing line my mother told me about it a few years ago so I decided to try it and have yet to be let down. The only con I would say about this cleanser is the price its quite hefty. Im in Canada and its about 50 bucks plus tax. So sometimes to save money I just use the pure Shiseido cleanser but it doesnt have the brightening affect that I like yet.
