I love this bar because it’s not drying, and since it’s winter I need all the moisture I can get. I use the basic five line for normal skin, and my daily routine also involves the Arcona reozone 40 sunscreen. My only complaint is that I’m not sure just how effective this is at removing the sunscreen- when I wash once, I can still see the reozone stuck in the pores on my nose, so I have to go back in and use the bar on my face again. Besides that, the herbal scent takes some getting used to. To me, it’s bearable because the scent goes away but it might bother some others. I’m just not sure if I would repurchase this bar- I love it because it’s not drying, but having to go back and wash my face again just to remove the sunscreen makes me ehhhhh.

The price was a real cringe, but sometimes on online beauty stores you can get the bars for 30 dollars instead of 38 dollars. Not much, but some. Anyway, I’ve only used this for 2 days, so nothing major yet. I’ve been having a bit of a dry spell (probably not the best time to use this product), but it hasn’t dried out my face so far.
Pros
– I like the bar form! I wet my clarisonic brush head a bit, swirl it into the bar, and rub a dub dub.
– Smells sooo good, very earthy/natural
Cons
– Has that weird soap feeling after washing, not sure how to explain..
Not much to add, since it is only the second day, but updates will be added! P.S. I’ve only been doing this at night, as suggested by a few reviews here to only do it once a day.
**UPDATE 4/23/2012**
I use this product when I double cleanse. It removes a majority of my makeup so I can deep cleanse my skin in the next step.

I have been using the Toner bar at night with the Raspberry bar in the morning. The Raspberry bar alone served as a non-irritating basic cleanser that prevented breakouts. The Toner bar which I added with my new Raspberry bar made all the difference! The smell is nice and earthy, like incense. I think its actually refreshing to have a scent other than flowers and fruits. Reading other reviews, I wonder if you need to start only using it once a day like I am, and if it works, use it twice. My skin is about 3/4 the improvement I was looking for, and maybe if I switched out my morning Raspberry bar with this, I could be 100% clear and 150% satisfied!
