I really, really wanted to like this product. It’s not the worst product out there and successfully melted my Kiss Me Mascara… but the issue is that it never fails to sting my eyes and make my vision blurry for hours even after flushing it out with water and eye drops multiple times… and the worst part is that the product never does wash off completely even with foam cleansers and seems to irritate/dry out my face completely to the point of getting new wrinkles around the eye area.
I sadly cannot recommend this product. There are better products out there (like DHC olive oil cleanser) or Josie Maran’s Argan Oil cleanser.

After patch testing for 2 days in a row, I developed a huge pimple in the center of the tested area. I feel reasonably assured this is the result of the cleansing oil because I don’t often get superficial pimples and the first ingredient is the very comedogenic isopropyl myristate. The product does feel nice on, very light but does not rinse as cleanly as DHC cleansing oil which is the standard against which I judge all cleansing oils.

Not bad but not as effective as the cream cleanser version of this.

This is a very gentle and effective cleansing oil. I use this as part of the double cleanse method and it easily removes all traces of makeup including waterproof mascara and liquid lipsticks. My only issue is that it really stings my eyes and I generally don’t have sensitive eyes or skin. I’m going to use up my current bottle but I don’t think I’ll end up repurchasing this.

This is a great makeup remover. It’s gentle, skin softening and even removes my waterproof mascara. I follow with the cleanser and wow perfectly clean skin. Definite repurchase

It really does a good job at taking away all traces of makeup, but the thing that is always a big no-no for me is if a product stings my eyes. And this one does. Sad but true.
