So I said I would buy again but it really is a hard maybe. Yes, I could DIY this exfoliator but do I really want to play chemist when a bottle of this stuff has managed to last me months of weekly use and I still havent put a dent in it? Also, please note that clove needs to be ground extremely fine to be safe to use in skincare otherwise you may as well be using St Ives Apricot scrub. I owronally cant manage to ground clove fune enough for food let alone skincare. This product manages to do that.
I have dry, sensetive skin and I have to say I’ve not found any reactions to this product. In fact my skin seems to really take well to it.
I love a good physical exfoliant and this is probably #1 behind shaving or ‘ dermaplaning’ now. I mix a bit in my hand, no more than a little shake of product out in my hand, with literal drops of water. I then dot it on face, rub it in, and take it off with a muslin cloth. It leaves my skin so incredibly soft.
I like the smell- chai latte. The bottle- Glass hippie goddess. I also enjoy the results. I expect the bottle to last me a good year maybe? Maybe even longer. It’s not absolutely terrible with the price if I’m not looking to play chemist.

Cheap clay you can buy online for less that $10 and lots of irritating ingredients that do nothing for the skin. Given all of this the price is astonishing.

The smell is a little off-putting. This is not for dry, sensitive skin. It has spices in it that can cause irritation. You can definitely get away with a DIY on this one since it’s all dry ingredients. Just be careful not to over-do the spices. The packaging is beautiful, however packaging doesn’t overcome not being able to use the product. Pros: ML has exceptional customer service.

Oh dear, this stuff is crap. Just buy yourself some fullers earth, add a little clove oil and some cinnamon and you’ve got this product. Leaves your skin orange as well, which stains my wash cloth. May Lindstrom is all about the hype, what more could you expect from a former model…
