My go-to makeup remover wipes have been the original MAC makeup wipes which are fantastic but I like to try new things! So when I received a package of these Pacifica Rose Water Makeup Removing Wipes I was intrigued, especially since I love most things that are rose scented. It was a pacakge of 15 or so and I used them all in a two week period. Unfortunately I was sadly disappointed in these. The initial rose scent is very pleasant, but after you start cleaning your face it quickly dissipates into this sour, off smell. No bueno! Plus it took a LOT of rubbing to get get all my makeup off, especially my eye makeup. When I used these Pacifica makeup wipes, I always had to follow up by washing my face with my foaming cleanser which I usually don’t have to do when I use my MAC makeup wipes.
Overall, I’m not impressed. Sure, they did a fine job of cleaning off my foundation and powder, but for eye makeup especially makeup looks using eyeliner and darker more pigmented colors?! Not satisfactory at all. I for sure won’t be purchasing these anytime soon, I say save your money and try the Neutrogena or the MAC wipes. DISLIKE!!!!
