I had the full size and it lasted forever, since I didn’t use it daily and you really only need a pea size drop.
When it ran out I had a mini size that came with a gift set my mom gave me. I used that one up, too!
Feeling like I need to repurchase again for it’s great rose smell, and helped keep my skin nice and clear.

Recently, my go to foaming cleansers have been Boscia and Nars. I got a sample bottle of this from Sephora because I was curious to give it a try and, I have to say, I really like it. Granted, I think a lot of the nebulous claims are just that – cosmetic company “fluff”. I’m sure rose stem cells do a lot to aid sick roses in their recovery from illness, but applying what is probably a negligible amount onto your face in a cleanser that is just going to rinsed away – come on – it’s not going to do anything significant at all. Having got that out of the way, this is a really pleasant face wash. It’s not too drying, doesn’t leave a residue and it smells beautifully of roses. The lather it produces is has a light, airy texture, which contributes to my sense that this a gentle, non-drying product (though it does contain SLS, which sort of surprised me, because it does feel less “chemical-y” than many products with SLS). It is more expensive than my Boscia cleanser ($35 CDN vs $47) but you get almost twice as much in the bottle (5 oz. vs. 8.5) so, ounce per ounce, it’s actually a better value. The Nars cleanser is $38 for just over 4 ounces, so much pricier than either of these, though I really like it a lot too. Once I finish up my current bottle of Boscia, I think I might purchase this cleanser as a replacement.
UPDATE: I’ve changed my repurchase rating to a “no” and taken off a lippie. I did purchase the full-sized bottle of this, and it is REALLY full-sized, as in HUGE. I’ve become more than a little disenchanted with this cleanser after being wowed (or maybe “wooed”) by the sample I had; I think the rose scent clouded my judgment! Anyway, I don’t find this to be a very effective cleanser at all. I wear fairly light face makeup and this doesn’t completely remove it. If I use a toner or similar type product afterward, I see discouraging traces of my CC cream or foundation on the cotton pad. I much prefer both the Irish Moor and Anti Aging cleansers to this one as they seem to do a better job. I’ve transferred some of this to a bottle to share with my daughter and I’m actually using the rest as a shower gel since it does smell nice. But it’s a purchase I do regret.
A further UPDATE: Because I’ve got this honking huge bottle and want to try to get some use of it, I decided to give it a try the other night, using it with this little Sephora silicone cleansing pad thingy. The results were great – that little pad (mine is bright pink but the pictures here on MUA are of a blue one) really helped the cleanser to cleanse my skin (I was wearing foundation and wanted to see how effective this would be) and the end result was skin that was scrupulously clean and amazingly soft (thanks to that little cleansing “pad”, which is both gentle and effective). I still don’t think I’d repurchase this cleanser – it’s just not all that great – but at least I’ve found a way to get a good result with it.

I really like using this at night before my glycolic and retinols. I feel like it cleans nicely without over drying. I also like alternating between this and Burts Bees brightening cleanser. BB’s brightens and moisturizes but over a couple days leaves gunk in my pores, so I switch back to PTR and my Clarisonic. I love how nice and clean it makes my skin feel and spritz on one of PTR toner sprays after, like the aloe one. My skin feels amaze! I love everything about this product. I only took off a lippie because it’s kinda pricey for something you wash down the drain and the bottle is pretty bland…like a pump would be great! Def gonna keep buying this and all the rose line from PTR!

I love this cleanser! It smells fantastic and lathers nicely. It only takes the smallest dab to clean my whole face. The price may seem expensive buy it took me over 6 months to use it all.
I think it made my skin super soft, nicely hydrated and a bit brighter. I really enjoyed using it, I just don’t know if I need to use it, per se. I’ve got other cleansers that are less expensive that perform just as well.

For a face wash this was just meh for me. I love PTR washes and am always ready to try the new ones that come out. I am a huge fan of the Anti-Aging face wash (the orange one) that PTR released a while ago and decided to give this a shot. It’s pretty basic and seems like any other face wash I could get. I use this as a daily wash since it is very gentle.
It smells like roses and suds up really nicely. A little goes a long way as well so you don’t have to worry about running out of it super fast. I could see this being great for people who have super sensitive or dry skin because of how gentle it is and you still get some anti-aging benefits as well. After I finish this up I most likely won’t re-buy it since I see more benefits from the other Anti-aging face wash that this one.
So in the end, it is a good wash but for an anti-aging wash I have another one that I like way more than this one. But if you have dry or sensitive skin and need a gentle face wash with nice benefits in it, then try this one.

I’m actually surprised by how much I liked this. I typically rely on glycolic acid toners rather than cleansers since a lot of cleansers strip my oily skin too harshly.
I used this after removing my make up/skincare with jojoba cleansing oil. I’ve been experimenting with a new chemical exfoliator lately (retin a micro). So my face is a bit raw at the moment. I was bracing for this to sting my already sensitive skin. But it didnt.
It lathered nicely. I then rinsed my skin and was in awe of how smooth my skin felt. My skin didn’t feel stripped! The extracts in this somewhat concern me since I’m clog-prone. However this left my face feeling clean, without leaving a film residue on my skin.
Is PTR Rose Stem Cell Bio-Repair Cleansing Gel my new ~holy grail~? I’m not completely sold yet. It is quite expensive for a cleanser and it does have a lot of extra ingredients in it. I tend to do best with simpler ingredient lists. I really would prefer if this didn’t have so many extracts and oils in it OTHER than the rose based ones. Also — I liked not having to follow up with an alpha hydroxy toner since this has glycolic acid in it.

I am a sucker for any product with real rose extracts in it. I was excited to try this new PTR line of products. The cleanser has a delicious rosewater scent. The pink colored cleansing gel is thick and concentrated; you do not need a lot. It is an effective cleanser to the point that it left my skin feeling stripped and tight. I can see this becoming an irritant with long term use. Has rose stem cell extracts, rosewater, and rose oils in it. Also has glycolic acid.

Travel size/deluxe sample from a Sephora kit. Smelled pleasant, was very thick, a little went a long way. Seemed very moisturizing on my oily skin but didn’t feel greasy. Lathered nicely and rinsed well. I wouldn’t buy again solely based on cost.

I got it deluxe sample of this in one of the packages from JCPenney Sephora. I just started using it cuz I finished my favorite cleanser buy first aid beauty. first of all I don’t like the packaging this current cleanser. you have to unscrew the top and pour out the cleanser it is A pain. secondly I do not like how trying the cleanser leaves my face. It leaves my skin feeling very tight. I’m just going to finish my sample not to waste products. would not repurchase. & I don’t know if it’s just a coincidence btryingut I feel like I’m getting a little bumps on my skin. can’t wait for it to be done.
