This leaves your skin feeling a bit tight and dry, and it’s a bit too heavily perfumed. It does do a good job of cleaning your face and stripping it of all your makeup. On the plus side, I can rub this around my eyes without any irritation. I would recommend this for people or younger kids with oily skin, it’s a bit too drying for me.

Good stuff! As everyone else mentioned, it does have a strong scent. Not my favourite but everything else about this cleanser is great. It cleans effectively but does not dry out skin. The pump works really nicely and it dispenses just the right amount of product. I find that this cleanser lasts a while which is great.
P.S. Not to be used on the eye area. Use something else to remove eye make-up!

I love this cleanser, it is so far the best cleanser I’ve ever used. I have combination skin though not really sensitive so I actually bought this product wrong (because mine was for dry and sensitive skin) but it turned out so well!! I tend to have some oil on my face when I wake up in the morning and whenever I wash my face with this product, my face would instantly look smoother and its pores look smaller. Another thing that I love is that it doesn’t really produce suds so I can easily breathe when I wash my face. Foamy cleanser tends to be a problem for me because it is too watery and also it gets into my eyes. Not to mention, I love the scent of this product. It smells luxurious to me, even my friend loves it. I would definitely repurchase this.
A tip I would say for new customers is that you will not see the result directly. I tried this for a week and it seemed ineffective; I was so devastated but then I discovered that my pores became smaller and my face looks smoother with lesser acne. I was so happy afterwards. You gotta be patient with this one

The scent is so strong, and it’s not a smell you would actually like smelling while you’re washing your face. It smells gross.
If you wear light makeup – it will remove it with two washes. But if you wear anything slightly heavier this does not work.
It’s not drying which is the only reason I continued to use it.

This product didn’t work for me. It may work for someone who wants a second cleanse that doesn’t need to remove makeup or sunscreen. However, there are much better and more gentle products available
Pros:
– I may be in the minority, but I like the scent. It’s the typical Nuxe scent. It is strong, however. Probably too strong for a cleanser.
Cons:
– Does not remove makeup.
– Does not remove dirt, oil.
– My skin didn’t look great afterward. Left me dry.
Price: $19 for 6.7 oz.

I’m rosacea prone with sensitive ( obviously) dry skin I always used dermalogica for sensitive skins ultra calming face wash to cleanse my face since getting rosacea but this does the job just as well and gets my makeup off in one wash with no residue needing a second wash.My granddaughter age 16 with fair sensitive skin ( she’s a ginger nut ) also loves it.It disappears far more quickly when she’s about !
I’ve avoided telling my husband how good it is He also has sensitive skin but isn’t too sparing with his face wash.My creams also disappear I can tell who’se been in them as there are finger size holes in my creams I’m going to put tape over the pots or give him a bill
Nuxe gel leaves my skin clean but not tight ready for serums and creams without that clogging feeling After1 year I have had no side effects just lovely clean skin

This is a strange product. It smells awful (I’m really not a fan of Nuxe products, so don’t find any of the heavily scented products appealing) and it really strips my skin without removing makeup. It doesn’t foam up and when it rinses off, it’s incredibly drying. Got this as a sample in my Birchbox and won’t be purchasing the full size bottle.

I am not faithful to a single cleanser, so I decided to try this one out after seeing it in an Ipsy monthly bag edition. I gave this a solid 2-month trial, twice a day, I reached half of it and I decided to stop using it……..
MINUSES
– the scent is extremely strong and lingers on my face for a couple of hours; it is not bad, but I don’t like how strong it is…
– if you are sensitive to scent, I would not recommend trying this. I have used heavily fragranced cleansers before and some of my skincare products have strong scent as well, and I have not had any issues…BUT THIS cleanser, surprisingly, made my skin so red every time I used it. I was not using anything different in my skincare and makeup routine, that is why I am sure this cleanser was the one to blame for the redness
– it always left my skin feeling tight, dry and stripped, which I did not expect considering the mild ingredients
– it claims to be a makeup remover, but I just could not imagine using that powerfully fragranced product on my eyes…and it did not perform that well for my face makeup
The only things I like about this cleanser is that it comes in a pump and that it does not foam. I wanted to like it, I tried it, but my face cannot handle the damage anymore. So, if you have dry and sensitive skin and scent irritates it, try another product.

This product is the worst facial cleanser I’ve ever used. Aside from the horrible, disgusting, heavy scent, it does not remove make up. Not even after 3 times of washing my face w this product. The heavy scent sticks to your skin and it’s just awful. This of something your 95 year old grandmas perfume lathered onto your face. I threw this out immediately.

I was really excited when I got this product. Made with ~90% natural ingredients, trusted french pharmacy brand and nicely smelling, I had my hopes pretty high. Even tho it cleansed my face pretty well, I found it burned my eyes. Also, it foams up. Therefore, end of a story for me.
