I’ve never had a cleanser make such a difference in my skin ever. It’s like magic. I’m not 100% in love with the packaging but that could be user error with using my Clarisonic directly on it in the package. However, after using this for two weeks, my skin is amazing and this is the only thing that has changed in my routine. Absolutely no irritation. I don’t feel dry, I don’t feel oily. I just feel clean and perfect.
I believe it’s now called the Raspberry Clarifying Bar, instead of the acne bar. However, I did get it in the problem skin kit. The jury is still out on my other Arcona products because I haven’t been using them as long, but this one I LOVE. LOVE!

So sad :-(. This bar used to be great and made even my more mature skin balanced, clear and wonderful. It has now been reformulated to include acnegenic ingredients. It’s a completely different product. I have loved this for years and now they have ruined it.

I have been using this soap for the past week and overall, I really enjoy it. No breakouts from making the switch. It’s really gentle. No new zits or pimples, whereas I was getting one or two new ones every couple of days using the Clinique Acne Solutions kit. It will take longer to see more drastic effects, but for now it’s controlling my acne, and I think balancing my oily/dry skin pretty well. The price is high, but I think it’s going to last a good while! I’m not sure if it’s my HG, but I’ll check back in in a couple of months to let you all know! Also, the smell is strong, but is pretty nice and created 100% naturally. I catch wiffs of it throughout my day, and it makes me smile!

Toes with tea tree toner bar, but this one might be my ultimate favorite (ssshhh) I have combination skin and you must use the bars consistently in order for them to work. I mean am and pm, and also a moisturizer it needed to because it can be overly drying at times. All in Ll my favorite cleansers for face by far.

i love this soap so much!. it saves my sensitive, oily, acne-prone skin from breakouts. i found out my skin is very sensitive to a lot of chemicals other cleansers have. this soap is all natural and doesn’t irritate my skin. it doesn’t dry my face and helps reduced my breakouts. i haven’t seen my face this clear for years. this is my HG soap.

This stuff is interesting. At first I started noticing great results. My skin was clearing and my scarring started lightening. Then, after three months of consistent use it just stopped working. I am now experiences a fairly bad breakout session and it is taking forever to heal. I liked this product but it isn’t worth the money considering my breakouts never stopped and now they are worse than ever.

I did a lot of research about this product before I purchased it due to the price. I spent nearly 40 dollars for this product and I LOVE it. I have very oily skin, and until recently acne prone as well. It’s about my third week using this product religiously and my face is 90% clearer then it was. This was the only product I have been using for my acne so I know it was effective. I kept wanting to see results quicker (don’t we all) but after convincing myself that clear skin wouldn’t happen over night, I pushed myself to keep using it and I am thrilled!
I had been stuck on thinking that liquid or foam cleansers were where I needed to look, then I washed my face with the bar the first time and I experienced this Sqeeky clean I’d never felt before. Your face is legitmately stripped of oil, dirt and; since I dont use heavy amounts, make up too! Yeah, the price is kinda steep. But honestly, you only get one set of skin for the rest of your life, can you really put a price on the stuff you need to invest in to keep it healthy?
My Grandmother always use to tell me when I was younger that as soon as I get up to go wash my face, I hated it when she said that, but actually this has become my routine. I wash my face in the morning as soon as I take my first trip to the bathroom (even if I don’t shower till later) normally I hit the gym in the morning so I like to keep my face clean because your pores are opening up when you sweat. Then when I get home to shower I wash it again with the same product.
Now I have really oily skin and for that reason, my skin doesn’t dry out, your skin might be a little more prone to drying out quicker with repeated use of the product so I would be cautious before washing more then twice a day.

I wanted to buy this product for so long, but didn’t because of the price. It is freakin’ expensive. I love the idea of a bar cleanser, but most are drying, don’t clean my oily skin well, or leave a lot of residue.
I did have very acne prone skin before going on antibiotics. My skin is much clear now, but I still have clog prone, oily skin.
I bought this as a part of a kit for “Problem Skin”.
First, the packaging looks nice, but it is a hassle to screw & unscrew the lid, I just leave it open, and the excess water does not drain making the soap soft.
It feels very luxurious when foamed up, a lovely creamy consistency. It does not strip your skin, but I can also feel the oil on my skin after I washed it off. I don’t like cleansers that strip my skin, but also I still feel “dirty” after I use this. I always use a cleansing oil first at night, but in the morning when I try to use just the raspberry bar, I always end up washing with another cleanser.
Has it helped with my skin? I have to say I saw no difference.
Even though this is marketed as a cleansing bar for acne prone/ oily skin, I think it more for normal to dry skin types.
I’m glad I didn’t shell out $38 for the full size, the bar does last a while, but ARCONA says you have to replace them every 6 months or so, and that seems wasteful. I’d rather go with a cleanser with longer shelf life.
