I bought this stuff to take off a strong sunscreen. I went into Ulta looking for a oil cleaner and the assistant immediately brought me over to this stuff. She said that people that use stage makeup use this to remove really strong powerful makeup. This stuff works awesome! I love it. Smells great, a little goes a long way and it works REALLY well. It removed my mascara quick! I don’t use waterproof. I love it. This will be in my regime going forward no matter what kind of ss I use. Good stuff!!!

I have been using the standard Purity for quite some time. I have very dry skin due to a medical condition, and have a hard time keeping my face hydrated. I use my Mia after this oil and it works really well. This melts mascara off my face like nothing (I wear waterproof) and doesn’t irritate my very sensitive eyes. It plows through make up with very little effort, and I dont find much on my Mia brush head. It doesn’t dry my skin out, but also doesn’t leave a oily or greasy after feel.
I hate the bottle. I wish it came with something a bit more controlled to dispense it, like maybe a pump?
Anyway, this is my go to cleanser. Love it.

The packaging for this cleansing oil is a disaster, because of the pour bottle the thin oil is difficult to control and if you want to add more product to your face you have to pick up the bottle with slippery hands. This smells just like the whole Purity range, that nice vaguely botanical but clean scent only in a very muted form. I can barely smell it at all while using.
This is the thinnest of all the cleansing oils that I’ve tried and so the oil spreads well and if it gets into your eyes it causes only a little of the cloudy vision thing (common to all cleansing oils) and blinks clear in seconds. But it feels thin and cheap and has none of the luxurious and smooth texture that converted me to cleansing oils in the first place.
Getting rid of my wp mascara with this cleansing oil requires more rubbing and causes more friction that any other I’ve tried – again because it is so thin, but it will remove it. And if it gets into your eyes it stings, not badly but its the only oil I’ve tried that stings at all so that put me off immediately. It emulsifies completely with the smallest amount of water – good if you’re bare faced but not so great for removing makeup. In order to perform a decent cleansing massage and get my makeup off completely I have to use twice as much of this oil as I do with other brands.
I can’t wait to finish the bottle and I won’t repurchase when I do.
