Love this! I’ve tried sooo many cleansers searching for the one that wouldn’t dry out my skin and so far this is the one. It cleanses thoroughly, yet only a small amount it sufficient for both face and neck so it lasts long. I love how it smells (only I would love it even more if it didn’t contain fragrance), I love the packaging because it lets you control how much you squeeze out. I avoid rubbing my eyes with it (as I would with any other foam gel), I have Lancome Bi-Facil for that and it does the best job ever.

Conclusion:
Yes this is ridiculously expensive cleanser, but its Darphin so when you’re looking at their products (or Revive, Sisley, La Mer….etc) you have to through caution to the wind. This is a bad-ass cleanser. I’m not kidding ladies, its fine lather that leaves you squeaky clean and actually helps keep breakouts under control. I used this a ong time ago and initially I found it very drying. Then several months later I decided to give it another go, and I fell in love. I used in the shower mostly, so I find this type of packaging (the cap never comes off completely) handy. I never used the toner that accompanies this, but the serum + matte lotion smell almost identical to this.
I would only buy it again if I got it for 1/2 the price, and I would only recommend it in the instance or if someone was looking for worthy splurge. Otherwise if you truely suffer from acne or oiliness I’m sure there are for more effective products at a better price point… Although I must mention that the purifying balm is exceptional at treating some types of acne.

This is quite an average cleanser imo. I expected a better result from a high end line like Darlphine. I don’t like the scent, I was expecting this cleanser to have a soothing aroma scent like most of the darlphine products has, but this product has this artifical floral scent which reminds me a lot of the cheap drugstore gel cleansers have. It is also too harsh for my skin, I have combo to oily skin, it completely strips off all the natural oils from my face, my skin felt tight after wash. After trying out tons of oil controlling products for my oily skin, I have learnt that best way to keep my skin moisturised and less oily is to keep the water and oil levels of your skin in balance. The more oil you try to strip away, the more oil your skin will produce. Therefore I am only using this one as my makeup remover now, as it does a pretty good job to remove all of my makeup, then I will use another very gentle cleanser just to make my skin feel softer and less tight, if that makes sense..
