Peach & Lily is quickly becoming a reliable and trustworthy skin care brand. Most products from them that I’ve tried have ended up becoming favorites of mine. The Peach and Lily Glass Skin Serum was the one of the first 10/10 ratings I’ve ever given. When Peach & Lily released their new cleanser I knew I had to give it a try.
The Peach & Lily Power Calm Hydrating Gel Cleanser lightly lathers and a small amount goes a long way. The Power Calm Cleanser has a very very light herbal scent. This contains lavender and geranium oil, the last two ingredients in the list. Normally I find fragrance to be an issue, however, a small amount in a rinse off formula won’t be a significant issue for most people.
What I was most impressed with about the Power Calm Hydrating Gel Cleanser is how it removes most tenacious makeup- sunscreen, waterproof mascara, and even long-wear foundation. After using this I use a toner soaked cotton pad and it looks very clean, very little makeup or residue ends of on the cotton pad.
After rinsing off the Cleanser skin feels soft but not dry or tight. I also like that Peach & Lily included several beneficial ingredients to the formula (again, they can’t do too much in a rinse-off product, but I’m happier to include them than leaving them out) : licorice root, green tea, ginger root extract, centella asiatica, chamomile, vitamin e, and more.
