Another hyped product which does the same job as the other 500 products before. Don’t get me wrong but normal soap is doing the same job. Beautiful pacakging though. To me it looks like everybody is launching a skin care line. But the thing is that they are all the same. I only had a sample an I didn’t hate it but I didn’t like it like I said just normal wouldn’t spend any money on it.

Love this! Bought it at Target last week and I’m amazed how well the oil cleanser removes makeup. After I cleanse with the cream cleanser, my face feels super hydrated and clean. It hasn’t broken me out so far. Nourishing and a pleasure to use!!

I love a good cleansing balm and I exclusively use cream cleansers as a second cleanse, preferring their richer texture over a cleansing milk (I have dry skin and wouldn’t dream of using a gel or foam), and these are two of the best I’ve tried. I’d prefer the balm to be more buttery than ‘solid oil’ (it has a lard-like texture), but it’s so good at removing makeup and is very gentle. The cream is cooling and nourishing much like a cold cream, but it emulsifies into a milk. They’re both fragrance-free which is a must for me, and the packaging is great for travel, but I do wish they were sold as separates. The balm goes a lot further than the cream seeing as it’s only used in the PM. These could be HG if the balm were in a pot of its own and the cleanser was offered in a pump or tube. I wouldn’t like to see this packaging taken off shelves as it’s compact for travel, but separate offerings would be amazing.

This a great makeup remover/cleanser. I am a fan of Mrs. Hirons, have enjoyed many of the products she’s recommended, and had high expectations of this cleansing duo. First off, I like that it is not heavily scented. I find the clearing balm portion to be nearly identical to Clinique’s Take the Day Off cleansing balm in texture and efficacy of makeup removal. No filmy residue or stinging of the eyes. The tub style suits the balm portion as it is too thick to be packaged in a tube. However, I wish that the cleansing cream was packaged separately in a tube as it is difficult to scoop and use due to its lighter texture. It feels like a dream on the skin and makes for a nourishing second cleanse. Price is higher that one might find typical in a product purchased at your local Target, but within the range of Pixi’s other offerings. I would and have repurchased.

First, I want to say, what makes Caroline Hirons a “skincare guru”? Her actual skin is terrible and for a woman in her 40’s, (which I had to confirm to believe) I thought for sure she was in her mid 60’s. To compare, Paula Begoun (an actual “guru”) is nearly 70 and looks years younger than Caroline Hirons. In addition to that – has no sun spots when she takes off her makeup! Just sayin’
Anyway, I got this product as a gift and decided to try it. First, the smell is awful. Second, it gave me dermatitis that took 3 weeks to heal! Third, it doesn’t remove long wear concealer, eyeliner and mascara! I had to use my olive oil for that. So glad I didn’t use my own money to buy this. Here is the worst part – I noticed that the ingredients on the Pixi website for this product DO NOT, match the actual ingredients on the bottle. This is not the first product I’ve purchased where this happened. This stuff has fragrance in it, and citris oils that are not mentioned on the website – all of which caused my dermatitis, even though this was a rinse off formula. I emailed Pixi about this and the other products that do not match and have not heard back

I love this product. But I think I use it differently and that’s perhaps why it works so well for me. I use my trusty old Garnier Rose Water cleanser first and remove it with cleansing wipes (For sensitive skin). Then I apply the ball and remove with a muslin cloth and hot water; then repeat with the cream. The Garnier takes off any eye make up and the the Double Cleanse does an amazing job in making my skin feel fantastic. I have super-sensitive skin and this has no ill effects at all. I highly recommend it but I’d use it my way!

The Pixi + Caroline Hirons Double Cleanse is fragrance free, free of dyes and so far it hasn’t irritated my skin or clogged my pores. My favourite part is the cleansing cream part. It appears to remove all of my makeup and feels quite gentle. After I finish washing my face using this my skin doesn’t feel stripped of moisture.
I won’t give this five stars because as people have mentioned both sides of this product will probably finish quickly, I’m neutral or ‘meh’ about it being in a jar but mostly I just don’t think I want to buy this again.
I think I’d rather buy the Queen Helene Cleansing Cream instead that way I get a real cold cream in a huge jar for a much lower price. More bang for my buck and everybody raves about the Queen Helene Cleansing Cream anyway.

Absolute rubbish

What a disappointing product. First of all, the packaging is bulky and deceptive; there is far less product in here than you would think. And I went through this quickly because the balm does not do a good job of removing makeup. It could not remove my waterproof liquid eyeliner. I had to keep dipping into the jar, which caused water to get into the jar, and it was all just so unhygienic. The cream cleanser was able to get off whatever eyeliner was left behind but I don’t think it did a very good job of cleansing at all. I didn’t go through this as fast but still, water kept getting into the jar. I also suspect this caused the pores on my cheeks to clog.
Don’t bother with this and buy the Clinque TTDO balm or the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Makeup one.

This is the best makeup remover i’ve used. And i’ve been through so many brands. The cleansing balm is decent, not amazing. But the cleansing cream is honestly the best. It removes the rest of the excess makeup, is so easy to wash off, and after washing off it brightens up the face. It’s the best thing i can expect after a long day at work and my face oily with makeup. Price is a lil steep, i go through this tub in abit less than a mth, but I will be repurchasing.
Update: have been through another tub of this after switching in between other Brands. ReAlized this still has the softest cleansing balm and gives me the cleanest face without drying it out. I still love it and will continue to repurchase.
