I found Nourish Organic Moisturizing Cream Face Cleaner at Wal-Mart a few days ago. They didn’t carry my Say Yes to Carrots Cream Cleanser so I decided to give Nourish a try. I was nervous at first especially seeing that Coconut Oil is one of the first ingredients and that makes me break out. However, I thought that it should be alright because I’m using it to wash my face, not as a moisturizer.
First off, I think this cleanser should be in a pump. It’s far too runny to be in a tube like this. So if you decide to try it, be careful getting it out of the tube because it comes out really fast. Second, this feels great when I’m washing my face. The texture is fantastic. However, when I wash it off, my skin is really dry. Even when I follow this product up with Acure Seriously glowing serum (my usual moisturizer). I find this surprising considering that I have oily skin. Maybe it will just take some getting used to but..I much, much prefer Say Yes to Carrots cream cleanser. Lastly, on the upside, this product hasn’t broken me out. In fact, my jawline was hit with hormonal acne over the last week and I think this cleanser is actually helping. In short, I probably won’t be buying this product again. I like the ingredient list but my skin gets uncomfortably dry from this. I even have to put lotion on my hands after washing my face because they get so dry! Wanted to love this. I’ll keep using it for a few more weeks and see if my skin gets used to it. Will update 🙂
So a week into using this product, I had to give it up. The ingredients in this, while good, didn’t agree with my skin. So it stays in my cabinet until I find someone to give it to. Warning to oily/combo/acne-prone folks out there, I wouldn’t attempt this one. Gave me some rough cystic acne. Yikes. Never again.

Terrific cleanser. I have generally oily skin and this cleanser left it feeling clean without stripping it. Foams nicely and is a great value.

A scent-free simple cleanser that is natural and inexpensive. It’s a runny milky gel that foams a little. It leaves skin feeling fresh and clean but not stripped. I can’t find any fault in this product except for the unsuitable packaging for the consistency. I really hope they change the packaging for this great cleanser.

This a great gentle deep cleanser for combination sensitive acne prone skin. The consistency is a liquidy milk that is not oily or sticky. It doesn’t leave a residue like other milky type cleanser. Rinses off well without any irritation and doesn’t no cause any redness. This even made my face brighter and less red/blotchy. This is slightly drying but did not cause any breakouts even help lessen my breakouts. The con is the squeeze bottle tube packing is horrible the cleanser is too runny for the soft plastic bottle. Since the cleanser it so runny keeping it up right side up cause the product to leak out and once you open the cap the cleanser just come out with squeezing. Keeping it leaning against something upside down doesn’t help once you tip it over a lot comes out, so it get all over the cap. Messy and wastes product. It’s a great cleanser wish it came in a pump type bottle. What I did was transferred into a pump bottle. The entire brand of products are available at Whole foods super market.

I love everything about this cleanser. I love the creamy texture. It reminds me of Cetaphil, but without the nasty chemicals they use. Some people complain about the smell, but I LOVE it. It’s raw, earthy and without any type of masking fragrance. It never irritates my extremely sensitive, rosacean, acne-prone skin and it doesn’t dry me out either. My easily reddened skin stays calm and clear when I use this regularly. At night, I use it with a soft washcloth or exfoliating sponge and it works perfectly with both. I also love the fact that I can get it at my local GNC. I know this line is also available at Target, but I don’t live close to one, so I’m glad it’s not exclusive there. This is a fantastic brand and I can’t wait to try everything they offer!

I really came to like this cleanser, but I would not repurchase because I just didn’t ever grow used to the smell. It has a unique smell.
This is a very gentle cleanser, but it really does the job. Especially when used with a facial brush. Wonderful product.

So far, I am really liking this cleanser. It is gentle and non-irritating and does a good job of cleansing without stripping. It is not the cheapest cleanser, but there are many more expensive and less effective cleansers out there. I would repurchase this.
