Burns my eye, would not recommend for eye makeup remover. Otherwise, removes waterproof mascara ok, tend to leave a slight greasy feel.

This make up remover is strongly scented and pretty useless. I have extremely sensitive eyes, I never wear mascara nor do I use waterproof makeup, so the removal of my make up is usually fast and easy. Not with this one. While it did not irritate my eyes, it did not easily remove my make up either. It took lots of rubbing and pulling with little to no success. Not expensive but not effective either.

Yeah, so I’m on my fifth bottle. I love this stuff – it’s cheap, a powerful cleanser and no fuss. I need to hold the micellar-soaked cotton pad down on my eyes for 10-15 seconds to get eye makeup to come off, and I can clearly see the mascara and eyeliner shape on the cotton pad when I take it off my eyes. Pretty impressive.
But I think I like it best when I’m not wearing makeup at all. I have had oily, pluggy skin all my adult life. The sun, humidity and pollution in Mumbai do my skin no favours. I had bumps on my forehead that would take forever to dislodge from my skin. I use this cleanser as part of a two-step evening routine. I use one cotton pad and the micellar to wipe my entire face (you will not believe how much dirt’s on it), then I follow with warm water and the Avene Soapless Gel. It’s kept my skin bump and breakout free for a whole year. I’m in the best skin of my life.
How do I know it works? I sometimes forget to micellar cleanse and use the Garnier AFTER my Avene face wash. The cotton pad STILL comes away a mild shade of grey. That’s why I keep repurchasing.

GARBAGE. This product is heavily scented. Like why do that? My throat started to irritate (still is as I’m typing this review) I’m just going to stick to using my 100% natural argan oil. At least that got the job done and there was no heavy scent lingering around.

This removes even the most stubborn make-up. I use waterproof mascara and this is the only thing that takes it off. I tried the micellar water for sensitive skin (the pink one) and although it did removed my foundation, it did not managed to remove the mascara. I use it only at night because it leaves a slight oily film but it doesn’t bother me that much. Sometimes I am not even use a cream after this because it hidrates my skin very well. I have normal/combination skin and it did not break me out. I always get along well with biphasic make-up removers and this one is no exception.

This micellar water removes all of my make up, even stubborn mascara. The argan oil makes a big difference and I personally enjoy the scent but I imagine there are people who won’t enjoy the fact that this product is fragrant.
You have to give the bottle a good shake to mix the oil with the water and FYI, you get so much product!
One thing though, you cannot use this like a regular micellar water and not wash your face with soap and water afterwards. The oil may clog your pores and break you out depending on your skin type. That being said, this is a perfect addition to the double-cleansing method.

I bought this last summer, you have to give it a good shake to combine the water and oil Luckily you get a massive amount of product for the money as numerous times I didn’t check the lid properly and covered the bathroom with the stuff! I found that once I got a quarter way through the bottle, the oil went a cloudy and it looked a bit iffy…
This is quite heavily scented, I loved the smell but was concerned on how it would react with my sensitive skin. Nice and hydrating on my skin, left it looking dewy and radiant (at first!). Unfortunately, my skin was breaking out and pores were congested after a month or so. I stopped using in case it was this product, my skin eventually calmed, and I did try this again a few months later and got the same reaction ☹
Real shame as I did enjoy this product!

I loved the original version ( in pink ) and when this came out I immediately bought it . This has a nice smell which was a big plus . I used this alone and found it so oily that I mixed in some of the original version. It’s still too oily. It cleanses makeup very well , but the oily residue is quite unpleasant . Hence would stick to the original version . I find this comparable to Lancome bi- focal / the L’Oréal two toned cleanser . I used these for years when my makeup was waterproof and almost impossible to remove with anything else. This product would suit someone with super heavy duty makeup . But for me the regular original version suits me best .

I bought this because I was running out of my Clinique Take the Day Off cleansing balm and wanted a simpler way to take off my waterproof eye makeup.
At first it seemed great! It does take off foundation and removed my eye makeup pretty well, not every last bit but it seemed to get most of it off on the first cotton pad. It has a bit of a scent, not sure if it’s perfume or just the oil, but I didn’t mind it.
Then I started noticing stinging when excess product got in my eyes. I got redness and dryness on my eyelids, and also started feeling an oily residue on my skin hours after use. I definitely do not agree with their claim of ‘no rinsing required’, I would use a face cleanser after this for sure. On top of all that, the skin on my forehead and cheeks became more rough and textured within a week of using this product.
TLDR: Two lippies because it does take off makeup reasonably well, but it feels oily afterwards, seemed to break me out, and isn’t friendly to sensitive skin. I normally use the ‘dry and sensitive skin’ Garnier micellar water (pink cap) for my non-waterproof makeup and I’ll probably stick to that.

I’m surprised this product does not get better reviews! For removing eye makeup, it is quite comparable to Lancome Bi-Facil and for a fraction of the price! I use it primarely to remove eye makeup but I quickly pass the cotton pad over my face, then I do a second cleansing with another cleanser, currently Miel-en-Mousse from Lancome that I apply on my skin with my Clarisonic Mia and the Cashmere brush. The product does not cause any irritation but then again, I’m lucky enough that I don’t have a very reactive skin so I never get irritations or allergies anyway. Overall I’m very satisfied, it is my third bottle that I use. I alternate with Bi-Facil from Lancome and I see no difference except in my wallet!
