My oily breakout prone skin loves this cleanser. I use it with the oil of Olay face brush. It helps keep my skin clear/ take off remaining makeup residue at the end of the day. If I remember to use it consistently with the brush, it even calms hormonal breakouts.

This cleanser has made a HUGE difference in the oiliness of my skin. I used to have to blot several times a day; now it’s down to once (and if I went without, I really don’t look that greasy). My skin is a bit on the dry side and over produces oil to compensate, and this cleanser does not dry me out at all (I use only once a day, and an oil cleanser in the AM). You only need a tiny bit so a bottle will last you a really long time.

One of the best cleansers, I feel, out there. I have very sensitive skin that will itch, burn and rash out to certain ingredients. This cleanser is effective in removing dirt, grime, oil and makeup. It’s not drying at all. I can use it both AM and PM with no issues. It’s not overly fragrant too. It’s a clear gel, then when wet…will foam up nicely. I follow up with the Mandelic Acid toner and follow up with the Super C + E Serum or Mandelic Acid Serum. My skin is literally glowing!

I ordered the sample size to try this out. To me, this smells vaguely of lemon. I like the gel texture, and I agree with the PP that this has really nice slip. Does a great job of cutting through oil, especially during that TOM. Cleanses well without drying out my skin or stripping all moisture. Probably a little stronger than I need for daily use, but I want it around for hormonal crazy times.

Wow this is a fantastic face wash! I have the whole Mandelic acid line from MUAC and it’s the 1st natural product that controls my acne as well or better than Retinoids in my case. I still use retin a micro but that is once in a blue moon. The mandelic acid products have finally allowed me to go natural and still get the acne control I need. I use about a dime of this and it’s more than enough cleanser. It has fantastic slip and when I rinse my skin isn’t dry and squeaky ala stripped. My skin just feels super soft, my pores are non existent, and I have none to maybe one or two spots around that time of the month. Otherwise that’s it which is fantastic for me because I never had clear skin till recently.
A quick reminder this comes from the bitter almond so it’s a more gentle AHA because the molecule penetrates the skin slowly so it causes less irritation. It also helps fight infections after laser, and it won’t bleach ethnic skin like some AHA’s can. The whole Mandelic acid line is HG skincare to me because I finally have control over my skin! My pale blotchy skin is no more. It’s even and smooth and I don’t need foundation anymore. Also with these products I find my MU goes on smoother because this stuff makes your face feel so soft! I also find with almost daily usage it doesn’t dry out my skin just refines and get’s the spots.
I have sensitive skin and to me this is the sensitive skinned girls AHA without a doubt. It also works on the nasty hormonal pimples I get where after a few treatments they flake off! I have the Mandelic Peel 25%,Toner 5%, and Serum10%, with the face wash I’m not sure the acid content but I know it works amazingly and I love it! True HG skincare right here. Plus the price is super reasonable compared to other mandelic acid products that have a lesser percentage of the acid. If you’re acne prone or want to keep it at bay and get rid of all the damage the sun and spots have caused this will help. It has me and I’m so happy with the results! Totally Recommended!
