First off..lemme start by saying I already have adult acne, but WOW getting this product was the worst mistake of my life. My face looks more horrible than when I was in highschool. I was freaking out because I broke out very bad on my neck and chin and it doesn’t help that I have a problem with picking acne. I have even been considering going to the ER with how bad my face is, I don’t even know what to do. I’m scared to put makeup on to cover this mess these wipes created. I will never, ever repurchase these in my life. I have had this issue going on for 2 weeks and I finally figured out it was these wipes creating my issues with my face.

I don’t think the packaging of this product is an issue. I have just started really getting into using makeup and I soon realized that I did not have any makeup removing wipes. When i went to the store and saw these, that not only were cheap, but stated on the package that it can remove waterproof makeup, and was suitable for sensitive skin, I thought that this was exactly what i needed.
They do remove makeup extremely well however I bought these mainly so it could remove my waterproof mascara, and it does, I am not denying that, but it always leaves my eyes, red, puffy and with a stinging or burning sensation that does not go away for several minutes. Let me also add in that the package states that it is safe for use on the eyes, so this should not be happening, but it is.
I feel like others should be warned about this possibility because it has happened to people other than myself.

I used these wipes for a while! But now all they do is dry my skin out and leave red patches on my face. They dry my eyelids out so bad that my skin flakes and is red and itchy. I will not use these anymore. I have stopped using these wipes and my red patches have gone away and my eyelids are back to good condition.

I recently bought these a couple days ago because I was going to go tanning but left my makeup wipes that I normally use at home. These were only $2.19 so I thought, why not? I used them and then went tanning. Just my luck, they put me in a tanning bed that I don’t normally use and i got burnt slightly. I used the makeup wipes again in the morning after I took a shower and before i put my makeup on. Through the day my skin was burning and itchy and I felt bumps on my neck which I thought was odd. I thought it was just because I was burnt, but it was really irritating me so as soon as I got home I used the makeup wipes to take off my makeup. My face was red and itchy and I had bumps on my neck and on the bottom of my chin. Towards the night it also spread to my face around my mouth and nose. This is when I realized it must have been the makeup wipes that caused the bumps and redness and itchiness. I slept for a few hours but when I woke up it was still irritated and bumpy. I took a benadryl and slept for a couple more hours but when I woke up in the morning my skin was worse and had more bumps on it all the way towards my cheekbones and on my forehead. I went to the ER and they gave me Benadryl, prednisone, and zantac. I’m on the second day of the medications and my neck is looking better however I still have bumps on my whole face and neck. On my chin and astound my nose and mouth it looks like I have a bunch of pimples and it itches. My face looks and feels awful. It’s completely embarrassing and I’ll never recommend these to anyone. I’ve bought many brands of makeup wipes before and have never had any problems. I thought the smell was fine and they removed my makeup like any other makeup wipes do. I’m not sure what’s in them that caused this but I suggest you don’t even take any chances by buying this product.

HORRIBLE!!!!! Used this product just a few times and it left my eye lids red and swollen and angry red patches all over my face. Not good for anyone with sensitive skin.

This stuff is absolutely TERRIBLE. Burns my eyes and nose, my eyes are watery and red because of how perfumey and irritating it is. It’s ridiculous how much I had to wring out before I could use it on my face and even after that it burned like I had dipped my face in a bucket of acid. I’m not allergic to anything, no allergic reaction. Skin is slightly sensitive. Will NEVER buy this shit again.

These are quite perfumey, so much so, that it makes my eyes red & skin around them very irritated. I’m trying to remove waterproof eye makeup & also I don’t normally mind perfumey products. But this is ridic. These burn so bad. I have somewhat sensitive skin but it’s tough like leather coz it’s very oily but these managed to feel like I had scrubbed off the top layer of my epidermis & poured a mixture of salt & alcohol over the top of it. No way–I am never buying these again as much as it pains me to leave a negative review! I use Makeuo Magic Eraser cloths reusable & to infinity better! You wash them in the washer & reuse them then u always have “wipes” (cloths) on hand don’t have to worry about wipes supplies & running into town; they are better for the environment & U recoup ur cost pretty quick (I’m not affiliated). The only wipes i really use are Simple brand or the much more $$$ Ole Henriksen wipes. Bah Kroger no thanks.

First let me say, that I have very sensitive skin. I have an aversions to strong fragrances, and there are very few brands of wipes and eye make up remover I can use. Kroger’s “Remove” store brand “wipe away the day” is available in two formulations. The one I use and prefer is the calming version. I love these, and that’s rare for me to become dedicated to a store brand beauty product. These are hands down the best cloths I’ve used at price points up to $30. They are large, nicely moistened, and remove both face and eye makeup. They don’t sting like the typical oil based eye makeup removers. The scent is light and fresh, a light lavender on the calming ones, and they get it all done with one wipe. They are great to end the day, start the day, and for use after work outs. I keep them in my bag. I find some of the other reviews quite confusing, because I’m picky and sensitive. One tip for use, let the towelettes sit pressed against your eyelids for 30 seconds before you wipe, and they remove even waterproof mascara wonderfully!

absolutely awful. This burned my eyes so bad and the package promotes using this on your eyes! My eyes turned so red and I couldn’t even open them without having to splash water in them. I wouldn’t repurchase item unless it were re formulated.

I have to say that I didn’t like these. It claims on the package that they are hypoallergenic but I wouldn’t use these if you have sensitive skin. They contain fragrance its VERY strong and chemically in my opinion. I really wanted to like these because they were so cheap!! I bought them on sale for $1.50 a pack. The towelettes are strong and durable and they could be wetter. They also didn’t remove my eye makeup as well as some other wipes that I have tried.
If you dont mind harsh smells and your skin isnt very sensitive then these will work for you, otherwise Id go with the SIMPLE brand or “Yes To” brand and shell out an extra few dollars.
