Thanks but NO THANKS! I got this when I’m done with my DHC one. That was my first cleansing oil and I came to realize that I’ve bashed it in my review for nothing. I thought I could get the same and even bettter results with any cleansing oil and at a fairly low price. I was dead wrong. Well it doesn’t even cleanse eyeliner and mascara good enough anyways. It smells really bad. The consistency is very watery and runny. Yes, Kokuryudo is cheap..compared to DHC. But that’s the only good thing about it. If you care that much about money get it and count your zits the next day in the mirror. I’m lucky because I rarely break out. Almost never. But this product broke me out on a whole new level. First I felt pain under my skin while I was wiping my face with toner in the morning. But there was nothing on the surface. Then within a few hours there were these HUGE bumps between my brows, around my lips and on my chin. They were like really really huge compared to normal zits. They hurt like crazy when I touch them and I wasn’t even able to pick or pop them out because they were rock hard. I stopped using this product immediately but what’s done was done and it took weeks for my skin to be cleared out. But there are still marks left on my chin. If you think Japanese could not go wrong with skin care read this review and think again.

Best cleansing oil I’ve used to date (up there with Shiseido). This cleansing oil is cheap (~$9 at Sasa), smells refreshing (like citrus and light ginger), and most importantly works at removing ALL of my eyeliner, mascara, sunscreen, and foundation. I always followup with another cleanser though because sometimes the best of cleansing oils will leave residue.
