this is now my HG makeup remover. I’ve tried several other makeup removers but always end up with makeup still all over my face and burning eyeballs. I purchased these a couple weeks ago at Walmart for 2 dollars. at night before I wash my face I gently wipe my eye area and my entire face and lips. I’d say at least 90 percent of the makeup comes off and the other 10 percent I just wash away with my facial cleanser. they have not caused any breakouts and do not burn my skin or sting my eyes. no more raccoon eyes in the morning I love these wipes!! I cannot believe I have wasted my money trying so many cleansers, especially eye makeup removers when this cheap and effective solution was right in the baby products aisle. Thank you, MUA posters, for alerting me to this great find. I have used several generic baby wipe brands in the past and found they did not remove makeup very well but Huggies definitely does and leaves no film. I only need one wipe to remove both my powder makeup and multiple coats of non-waterproof mascara. No eye irritation or excessive lash rubbing needed. The wipes are large, thick and gentle–also not drying. EDIT: With longer use, I am finding these do cause some dryness and often require more rubbing on my eyes than originally experienced. People with less sensitive skin probably do not have this downside. Huggies are great for quick supplemental cleansing of underarms and personal areas. Not surprising as that is their original purpose for babies. EDIT: I switched to miscellar water that works very well for me.
