This was one of my go-to cleansers when I battled with acne and didn’t have tons of cash to blow on fancy ineffective products.
It’s natural, affordable and lives up to its promise of purifying the skin.
I have sensitive combination skin, which tends to be more dry than oily. I never ran into any issues with this product being too harsh or irritating my skin. It treated the acne well and prevented further breakouts. I used it in conjunction with the Purifying Neem Face Mask, which is quite grainy and doubles as an exfoliator.

Nothing can go wrong with this face wash. My skin feels hydrated and moisturized after wash. It removes excess oil and control pimples.

I used to use this twice a day (morning and night) but it became too drying! I had dry patches and my skin was flaking off everytime I wake up. I don’t really have active breakouts anymore but this keeps my skin clear + it didn’t break me out. I now use another cleanser in the morning and this one as a night time cleanser and it makes my skin feel clean but not stripped.

This cleanser is soooo good if you have whiteheads or tiny little bumps all over your face as it really removed all of them really well and i got mine removed also. I used to have tiny little bumps and whitehead all over my forehead and cheek but not anymore with this cleanser. But.. it doesnt really work for pimple as its doesnt really prevent them from coming and i still get breakout, 2-3 pimples every months and takes some times to disappear

Game changer. If you have acne, grab this bad boy. It curbs break outs but the marks are not really taken care of.

Really upset about this product.. it was supposed to get rid of pimples and what not but it doesn’t do that instead it just crazy dries out your skin giving you dry patches and itchy skin which burns if you put on toner or any kind of moisturiser afterwards. i couldn’t figure out for the longest time what was damaging my skin i changed my skin routine so many times only to finally realise that it was the facewash damaging my skin and stripping it of all its natural oils. will NEVER buy or use this product again.

initially, it was rather effective and cleared some of my pimples but it stopped working after some time. this is a drying product and is not suitable for dry skin types. however, it does offer a very deep cleanse, probably too much. (gives you that ‘squeaky clean’ sensation, it is stripping) in a nutshell this is an okay product.

My skin type is mostly oily and I have very acne prone skin. I’m very pale so whenever pimples break out they can be very obvious due to the redness contrasting against my naturally pale skin, especially when these pimples are inflamed. I also have a problem with scars. I’ve started using this product for about two weeks now and I definitely noticed the difference.
Pros: Just after a few uses my pimples become less inflamed and lost their redness, they also shrinked in size in about a week of use and are on their way to disappearing. I really do like this product. It’s very effective for taking out the oil and dirt on your skin and unclogging my pores. Ive used this with the Neem facial scrub and together I think they work really well. My blackheads are gone and I’ve noticed less scars on my face. I think it’s a slow process but the fact that it doesnt irritate my sensitive skin and leaves me feeling refreshed and cool afterwards is always a good thing, plus its a natural based product meaning less chemicals. For the price that I payed for, it’s doing its job.
Cons: Its drying, definitely. After a few uses my skin felt tight and dry but after prolonged use the dryness lessened. I recommend using this at night before you go to bed, meaning only once a day at best. Have an alternate soap for your morning routine or use a light moisturizer or facial mist after use. Its ideal for very oily skin but not for many other skin types as it will just dry out your face.
